    Evening all.

Best laid plans and all that...bathroom isn't happening this weekend. On the plus side I can put off the Ar90s order for a little while. ;) Todays plan has also gone out the window thanks to DS having a migraine.

Yesterday all I did was work, and I managed to walk the dog TWICE :j It was only a slow wander while I was working, but that's the first time I've taken him with me in months. He slept well last night :rotfl: Then again so did I :D

Today I've paid bills, remembered to buy DS's prom ticket, booked a long over due smear test appointment for mid june as it was the earliest I could get, dealt with a customer who knocked and cleared my email. Then my landlady knocked and went through the quote for the bathroom being done, had me pick our new UPVC front door style, told me to tell the door man the windows need sorting out by him as well AND I remembered to tell her that our oven has broken :D

So my house may not be clean, the wash baskets may be over flowing for the moment (can't have the wm on when DS is downstairs - even me typing is loud apparently), and I still need to go to Mr A for groceries & prescriptions but I think I can call today a success considering I could have just joined DS sitting in the dark and playing games on my phone and chose not to. :p:p

Tomorrow Ex is here to take DS out so I will roll up my sleeves and get stuck in. It shouldn't take long, the place is pretty tidy, its just really dusty. Sunday I'm going out :D I'll come grab the list later on and post it properly with what I plan to do. But for now I'm off to find out the part codes needed for the oven.

    Evening all

Nice bright evening and windy too so I did a second load of washing and it is flapping on the line, should be dry soon as it is all light stuff.
    Stairs and landing vac done
    Office left tidy after working
Dusted conservatory and pottered about in garden for a bit
House is looking pretty tidy over all so I am hoping to have a relatively simple weekend. Have the usual food shop etc to do and would like to deep clean the lounge while DH is here to help me pull out the furniture as I can’t do it on my own, will hopefully tackle that in the morning and then would like to spend some time in the garden if the weather is good.

    Have a lovely evening all.

Okay folks, I'm heading to bed in a minute but I want to get my list up here so I have accountability tomorrow and I won't get sidetracked by other things :rotfl:

Morning all! Its me again :D

I said I'd be up at 5am....and I was awake, I got stuff done on my phone and was downstairs ready for the day with a washload on by 6.15 :D Breakfast for me and the dog done, kitchen shelves have been wiped down, washload one is hung on the airer with the dehumidifier going as it's supposed to rain (also means outside jobs will have to be delayed until after the rain or another day), second load is in, a batch of dishes are done and more are soaking ready for DS to do later as they're predominantly his from the past 2 days

I'm just going to have 15 minutes sit down with a game on my phone then going to let the dog get DS up :rotfl:I'll then start on some more jobs. Not sure which yet as it depends on DS's mood when he gets up, but it won't be anything too loud until I hear noise from next door. The longer those small children stay in bed snoozing the less time they spend screaming & fighting or blasting baby shark :mad: I'm actually missing the weed farm then brothel that was there as they were quieter :rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning all

It’s a lovely day here, not sure if it will last but am going to make the most of it now.

Showered and dressed, dishes done and last nights put away.
DH going to do the food shop.
    First load swishing in WM.
Bed stripped ready for bedding to go in next, am also going to change over to summer duvet as I was baking last night!

Back later, have a good day all!

Bits of the yard scrubbed, big pile of sweet potatoes cooked for the dog because ordinary mash doesn't seem to agree with her either, fish cooked for her, one load in off the lines and run through the TD just in case, three loads through the WM and out, three lodgers decluttered, shower room blitzed, both letting rooms dusted and vacuumed, some well overdue paperwork cleared, and a monster problem that's been glaring at me malevolently for a week has had a first pass :shudder: I flatly refuse to let it become a Frog but it is evil.

Got to go to a meeting this morning, and then the day's my own. OH says he's going to buy me lunch, too!
    Better is good enough.

    Morning

I think I must live on the wrong side of the hot / cold, dry / wet divide for getting washing dry outside. I'll check the forecast before I bother pegging anything out. First load has just finished swishing.

1st June!!!! How did that happen? There are still Christmas presents to be put away! (Christmas 2017 :o oops)

I had some sort of virus during the week, which knocked me off my feet - but I was back at work yesterday, so there's no excuse to not-fly today ;)

DS and GF are here for the weekend - GF likes it here as 'it's more relaxed' and 'everyone is nice to each other' - meeting the future possible outlaws sounds like it could be an experience! (GF's sister's partner and parents met up with the outlaws earlier in the year - no-one is speaking to anyone else now!!!!) So it may be a filthy tip of a hovel - but it's still a haven of sorts :D

Hugs to all who want or need one; air kisses to the non-huggers.

Golly, where did this week go?
I've managed to keep the house more or less in order, been to the usual gym classes, done one assessment, written up 1 - nearly 2 - others, almost kept pace with watering/ potting on / planting out what's in the greenhouse, filled bird feeders endlessly but loved watching the antics of all the babies(blue tits, goldfinches, blackbirds, starlings and greenfinches), done lots of weeding and pruning etc.

Assessment with social worker was unsurprising but disappointing; on the basis of mil being able to get slowly from armchair to Zimmer unaided, she is deemed fit to return to her flat. Discounted as irrelevant are having fallen (uninjured thankfully) twice in the last 10 days, needing bed clothes etc changed at 3am 5 times in similar time, being unable to say what day/ month / year or season it is, having no recollection of her own flat and saying she lives in Dagenham (she did, as a child). Yesterday she couldn't remember how to get out of the chair. SW expressed amazement that she had no grandchildren (none of his business) and couldn't understand why .Mr N has a different name to mil (his dad died when Mr N was 18 and mil remarried years later - surely not that unusual?) Anyway there are people caring for far more complex relatives than she is, so we'll just get on with it. We managed to delay the move until Monday 10th as we already had a lot planned till then.

Sitting in the conservatory now feeling virtuous after a park run. One load in WM, breakfast consumed but I think another coffee is called for to prepare me for the rest of the day.

I'm going to bore you all today with reposting my list :p

I've finally corralled my sewing stuff into boxes. They're now sorted and labelled and neatly stacked. Roll on my order getting here that I placed on Thursday. That'll allow me to clear more than half the piles if I can just be left alone to get on with things. While I was at it I gathered all the stray work things together as well so they're now in 3 boxes sitting on the sideboard waiting for me to deal with them.

DS did a batch of dishes reluctantly after finishing his breakfast. He wasn't impressed with how awake I was at 8am :rotfl: I'm nearly due to hang wash load 4 on the maidens. I might put 5 in but put an hour delay on it starting as I'm running out of room on my 3 maidens:rotfl: If DS didn't use an average of 4 flannels a day (or put a towel wash on every 3rd day) it wouldn't be so bad.

DS is out with ex at the cinema and I'm going to have some lunch since I had an early breakfast. We're currently listening to Deathly Hallows audiobook from the library while it's quiet :)

If it's gone its done! The rest will disappear much faster once I get started.

Time to make something to eat, a nice big glass of juice and then I'll take the vacuum etc upstairs to get that out of the way as much as possible. My room should be fun as it's currently looking like an old fashioned laundry with clothes on maidens and hanging from the curtain rail drying. I've got the dehumidifier and the fan on so hopefully it'll dry quickly. Weather can't make up its mind as to weather it wants to rain or not so everything is being hung indoors  It's days like this that I miss my tumble drier, but then I much prefer the lower bills and line drying everything I can ;)
