Weekly Flylady Thread 27th May 2019

I managed to do some pick and mix from today’s level 1, plus clean the bathrooms and dust the LR and DR. I ran out of time to get the vacuum cleaner out but I did have a very nice non-slinky lunch out with an ex colleague. Just over a year since we last met so lots to catch up on.

2 loads of washing done, and half an hour spent at the allotment planting and weeding. I’m about to set the dw running then that will be me done apart from making an attempt to meal plan. The freezer is full to bursting so it will provide our meals for the week.

I've cleaned my kitchen and bathroom today - so bathroom will be tomorrow's list!

Been to Peak Village with my friend. Hit my favourite chazzer and I now have a stainless steel jam pan and a pair of linen trousers. And a stocking filler for DD.
And a beautiful (new) top from a different shop.

- write the first draft (or better) of a paper for church - started

- clear up in the front and back gardens
- plant up the pot by the front door
- weave the winter jasmine into its new trellis
- dig up dandelions
- walk Rosie

Still to do tonight:
- put away clean washing
- write shopping list for cake ingredients
- plan how to use up all the food in the fridge by Thursday night

Tomorrow:
- do more writing
- shopping
- bake 3 cakes for an event next week that I can't attend
- mow the lawn
- dig out a few more weeds
- make spaces to plant out some plants that have been living in pots for almost a year
- brush Rosie
- walk Rosie
- sort the Toddler Group box
- write a packing list
- go to church council meeting

It's going to be another busy day...

Not much done, but I took Himself's absence (at work!) to cook for a change - and then, because his resistance was weakened, pointed out that I spotted a dead flour moth in the lentils [arghhhh! I hate those blasted creatures!] and, as such, we need more glass jars.

He reluctantly agreed that requires a trip to the Blue and Yellow Escher Drawing Emporium tomorrow.

[strike]Which means I can get a blind to obscure Idiot Cat's view of the beautiful black panther that kills His Mice in His Garden at night and hopefully keep his stress levels down and hopefully the house plants I covet so much[/strike]

Day off work today, will flutter a bit this morning before going out to have my manicure and my hair done.

Dishes put away
WM swishing
Clothes from airer folded and in to ironing basket

Just having breakfast, will flutter around for an hour after that.

Probably won’t be back on later. Have a lovely day all and will see you tomorrow!

Morning all

I'm a flylady on a mission today. So far:

- bed made, showered, three loads of washing on the line
- a couple of emails sent
- DW unloaded
- researched what we could reduce our Sky package to - will be phoning them at 8.45 when they open
- old mop and yacky Kinetic sand binned
- three more things added to charity shop bag
Will set TD going shortly (line is full), scoff brekkie, ring Sky, then do some weeding. Also need to do my pots for the decking. Will ignore the mess the kids are making, they are playing upstairs.

Morning all.

Not working to the list [STRIKE]today[/STRIKE] this week. Daily jobs have been done and today I'm going to be clearing some of my sewing projects. DS is off out later for a few hours, but has washed up and I've just told him to do the ironing :rotfl: I've caught up on some paperwork, and put a wash load on. Today's weather forecast is for rain so it'll all be going up in my room with the dehumidifier on.

Tomorrow I have work so I won't be doing much of anything other than that. I'm not sure about Friday yet either except I'll be deep cleaning the bathroom and putting in a Ar90s order as we are getting our bathroom decorated this weekend (Hopefully! ATM we're okay with it and so is the builder. Then we can work on getting the rest of the jobs on the list that need doing done) and I need to order new mirror/blind/storage for it. This weekend will be spent finishing off the sewing jobs as well as pottering around with jobs downstairs out of the way.

Next week DS will be going into school even on his none exam days so he can revise so it'll be so much easier for me to get stuck in with the housework and clearing my mountain of paperwork related jobs.

Well the washing machine has just finished so I'm off to hang it up and put the next load in. :wave:

- clean shower and bath
- clean sinks
- clean both toilets

Not from list:
- empty all bins and put new bags in
- clean out food bin between the above
- put bins out ready for emptying tomorrow

Been to work via the f&v market. Back home with 10 minutes to spare before turning round in the opposite direction to take DD for an appointment. One day I’ll meet myself coming the other way.

I did the bathrooms yesterday so will see what else I can get up to once we get back.
