Gave up last week and gave in to the tiredness. Still not even 90% but I have sewing projects I want to get done so I can reclaim my livingroomI got a couple of hand sewing jobs done yesterday but I need to get my sewing machine out for the rest and DS has a headache
May resort to just doing the ironing bits, maybe some more of the cutting out as well.
So far today I've dealt with emails, a customer, and I'm binge watching X-men films with DS. I think I can manage todays list though by doing HHCs between films

I sacked off my uncles funeral last Thursday.. OH was working so I used that as a reason to not go.. I bloody hate funerals. I don't feel the need to publicly express my sadness and grief to a box.. I know we all have our own ways but mine is to keep it private and deal with it myself.
Did I mention my new shower and how amazingly wonderful it is??
Jojo... love and hugs and prayers and light and more love for everything.. it will all come right in the end

Ordered tickets for Rocketman tomorrow.

Morning all. It's raining here again so not sure how much gardening I'll get done. Have two lots of workmen coming today but need to try to get to town at some point as I've broken my glasses.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Had an excellent day yesterday. DS1 and DDiL1 came, so did younger chap (helper), and they did a great job putting up the rose arches
DGDs helped me plant up pots, and everyone ate sausages and chips for lunch
The couple from church came and admired my jungle and DH's railway and went away full of coffee and cake and with about 15 plants - with the promise of more when I *eventually* do the weeding. My flower border theory is that the more plants you have in the garden of the types you like (and that includes weeds that I can tolerate, such as the brunnera), the less spaces there are for the weeds that you don't like - and you really only need to weed once in the spring or summer and tidy up again in the autumn :rotfl: However, my veg patch gets weeded regularly so that there's no competition with my food
This morning I have already drunk a cuppa and checked my bank balances. At least it's a start.
The house is generally tidy and will get a final clean on Thursday before we go on holiday (I like to come back to no housework), so no flying as such today, apart from WMx1.
I need to phone a friend and find out how many cakes I am supposed to be making for a social event next week - DH may have to deliver them for me, if I run out of time on Thursday. Also email DDiL1 about something and a friend about something else, and phone the owners of our holiday accommodation.
I have to prepare for a meeting this evening and also write the first draft (or better) of a paper for church, but there are still piles of papers on my desk blocking my thought process. I must clear them before I eat breakfast, then I can settle down to write for the rest of the morning. DH is off to SW so will leave me in peace for a couple of hours.
This afternoon there are bits to clear up in the front and back gardens, the pot by the front door to plant up, the winter jasmine to weave into its new trellis that DS1 put up as a bonus, dandelions to dig up, and Rosie to walk.
(((Hugs))) to all in need
:T:T:T to pigpen
Onwards and upwards! xx0
