  • Bill received for overpaid tax credits, I was expecting it and I've saved up the money to pay for it, but still..
Oh well, as my grandma always used to say, one day we will get straight! One item listed on eBay, one sold for a fiver, need to list one more tonight x

Layla has taken to digging up pot plants when she's hungry. Herbs and tomato plants shoved back in; potato cooked, dog fed. Lots more potato cooked so the same thing doesn't happen again. I will be really, really glad when this dog is on dog food. I've got some she likes, so that should be in about 10 days time, taking it gradually.

Kittens taken to vet to annual service and jabs with the help of OH. Both hopped into the baskets and snoozed for an hour when they were first put on the landing ready for later, and one of them did the same after the vet visit, although there was a bit of whinging on the journey.

Scruffy bits of carpet vacuumed, hob swabbed, kitchen tidied, 2 loads through the WM and out on the lines.
    Better is good enough.

    Dining room cleaned.

Baby's cardi sleeves knitted; I'm not on the home strait of the button band; 10 minutes spent trawling through the button tin turned up a set of 5, pre-used.

I realise my mojo's truly back; I'm reading, knitting, gardening and sewing. Not simultaneously, obvs.

  • Bedroom vacuumed.

Jars purchased (along with a doormat for [strike]Idiot Cat to shred when he's bored with the front one[/strike] the back door and some more teatowels), washed up and drying.

Plants bought. Not indoor ones, as Himself protested about the cost/feasibility of carrying it home (and then said he fancied getting some small greenery for the Studio when we were halfway home). Corn, a pumpkin, some runner beans and trailing verbena.

Headache combated with parrots, now eating pate on French stick and drinking tea.

I'm trying to hold out until the first instant I feel tired again (the first wave came at 8pm, which was too early) and then I'm going to bed.

Gap in weedpatch made, sticks shoved in, plants shoved in and watered. Not expecting them to be there in the morning, thanks to the resident mollusc population and my foolish insistence upon not killing things with evil chemicals.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Finished the writing for church and delivered it this evening with only short coughing fits. My list for today is almost complete - just need to back up my computer files. The rest will have to wait until we get back from holiday.

Holiday starts tomorrow! :j:j:j Will wave to mrs-mp, Valli, dancemum, Jazee and asb as we pass nearby x

    Morning all

    It’s Friday!

Have a full day of paid stuff today with lots of telephone meetings so not sure how much flying will get done. The house is in a pretty good state so it should be ok.

Breakfast and tea now and then will shower and dress and tackle the day!

WM is swishing so will get that out on line before starting paid stuff.

Have a good day all, back later with progress report.
