Lazy flylady creeping in.:o

I went back to sleep after DH left for work so I’m slurping my first cuppa now and catching up on the thread. And guess what - I only managed the last one on yesterday’s list. In my defence, I did manage to drag DH to the allotment for a couple of hours hard labour. He wants”us” to keep it going so I said that “we” had better go and get something crossed off the list.
Anyway, day off today. I’m off for an annual lunch out today with an ex work colleague. No excuse not to fly before then.
So far:
Recycling out for collection
WM on swishing the towels
Kitchen semi presentable and dinner out of the freezer for tonight. DH is out again so paperwork planned for this evening.

Next stop - bathroom cleaning.

Yesterday I decluttered gynaecology appointment and then blood test as a result of that.

Today am at home for the morning then working, then working all day Wednesday then it's a long weekend for us, so I guess I won't post after today

Today I have ironed clothes that dried overnight so washing is up to date, paid OH speeding fine (oops!) and sorted out my handbag, it was so full of rubbish. This meant I had to update the finance spreadsheets too.

Next is to update time sheets ready to send on Wednesday. Then tidy desk and make sure no outstanding admin.

Time for another coffee first, you see I'm excellent at procrastinating!

Morning of paid stuff done
Washing on airer with dehumidifier on as it’s raining on and off here
S/s bathroom and en-suite
Desk tidied, paperwork filed
Quick lunch and then off out to an appointment
Paid stuff this afternoon and then will do kitchen while tea is in the oven, just jacket spuds tonight so nice and easy to clean while they are cooking.

Three wash loads done, two on airer.
Both workmen have been, one needs to return tomorrow
Popped into town, got glasses fixed and bought new kettle as ours broke this morning
Bathrooms s&sd
Bin emptied
Ovens cleaned
Windowsill in kitchen cleaned

Lunch now then dog walk.

Got small list of jobs done yesterday, other than the washing. I don't know what made me think I had enough washing to warrant it but I definitely did not :rotfl:

Kitchen got a good clean yesterday so just needs a wipe over tonight, and will clean the oven and the hob. Any tips for the easiest way to clean the racks? They're not bad by any means but they don't fit in the sink :rotfl:

A quick vacuum is all else that is really needed, and going to the various shelves and re-homing clutter that seems to have made a permanent home in random places :cool:

Bid on eby item, and a note asking me if they win to only send half of it (most odd) If they win, I'm going to post all of it, they can get rid of the bit they don't want, otherwisr I'll end up with a claim, 'she only sent half of it'...........

Woke early with a poorly ear and throat, gargled.. pain relief taken and walked to work.. it sneakily rained on the way :mad: finished 9am as did an hours overtime.
Home and decided no slothing about on the sofa, I needed to dig in, not enough cleaning has been done and it’s bothering me..
So...
Bathroom scrubbed from top to bottom, including;
Tiles scrubbed, behind/innards of radiator cleaned (with new brush thingy!)
Bath, sink, toilet all scrubbed & limescale stuff in loo to work its magic.
Skirting boards vacuumed, cupboard sorted and wiped out, floors cleaned.
Plus;
All other upstairs radiators cleaned :A
Upstairs vacuumed throughout
DS2’s cupboard of doom (computer/tv inside etc) vacuumed and wiped clean..:eek:
My underwear drawers sorted and tidied (looking for clothes de-bobbler.. nowhere to be found:()
Dcat2 given antibiotic (he was an :A)
Various magazines organised, bagged ready for a friend..
Towels washed & outside on horsey (just Incase as we are forecast rain!)

I’m feeling happy with what I’ve achieved.. shall have a cuppa and maybe a small snooze..

Filled a binbag of yarn to fling at a localish charity .. I have 12 more boxes to sort through to see if I can fling some more.. Then I can fling fabric.. I am so fed up of my house being full.. I MUST make some headway. I might crack on with it now tbh.. I have an hour or so before I need to get the gremlins to bed..

Nail repair sorted for Thursday at 1.. I have completely trashed them since Friday with my cleaning and decorating and stuffing things out into the shed.

This week is all about the flinging!

1 binbag for CS
1 binbag binned
4 binbags for L&L.. charity teaching crafts to anyone wanting to learn.

.. and onwards..

Oh.. I also put 2 pairs of shoes IN THE BIN!!!

DD3 just got her first job.. in the pub where OH works.. Moomin is now applying, DD1's OH applied and his brother.. we are taking over the establishment!! hahaha.

and.. loo... and fabric/yarn sorting... I am so excited by the prospect of having a bit of cleared space..

I have 2 car seats to rehome too.. at 5 and 7 my girls have outgrown the 9m-12 year seats.. so I've replaced theirs with some huge ones. By the time Twinkle is outgrown her baby seat Squeak will be tall enough to not need one I think.. she is only 3cm off the legal height already! They grow up far too fast!

Hello again

Level one of kitchen done plus bins emptied after work.

Flying will be minimal tomorrow as I am having hair and nails done in the morning and then we are off to an event.

Will catch up as best I can on Thursday.
