I like many have tried the various sites , what you have to remember is that basically you have men and women chasing the top 20% of profiles , many spend ages writing their life story and a long tick list and don't realise most decide whether to read a profile or swipe left/right purely on the picture alone , the first bite is with the eye.
Whether it's a dating site or an intro agency I have also found most have unrealistic expectations and still think they can attract the same girls/guys they could twenty years ago.

The only "plus" to using an agency is that members have had some vetting and likely to be single and serious in meeting someone, but I don't think even that "plus" justifies £1000 or more and as I have said there just isn't the numbers for it ( ratio men/women) or the people who are willing to lower their unrealistic expectations for it to work.

Problem is they don't match people by their membership tier as not enough guys so a Gold female member who pays 3k gets loads of Silvers or even Bronze guys, you get professional city ladies ending up with Old McDonald who joined on a special offer. 🤣🤣🤣

It sounds like an very expensive minefield. I hope you found happiness away from an industry that plays on people’s loneliness.

Thankfully I only paid the minimum , I am that Old McDonald and quite happy now socialising with friends , if I meet someone a bonus , I agree agencies play on peoples desperation to meet someone and cannot deliver on their promises.

I personally do not believe at all in the relationships that are based on the internet because I believe that everything must happen in real life and be like a spark that fills your heart with happiness.  Personally, I had only one such thing if in life and now we are already married and we have two children and I love her madly.
We checked throw Twin Flamez if we are compatible and the results said we are created for each other. Even if sometimes some quarrels appear as in other families, it is good that we see the world in the same colors and we can clarify without reaching big quarrels."

  • Unfortunately dating agencies like this will have a very small pool of people to choose from. In this day and age where there are literally thousands of online dating sites to choose from, it's hard to justify how these agencies are still in business. While I wouldn't recommend bothering with any free online dating sites, as they attract all sorts, there are lots of niche dating sites out there you could choose from, whether it's based on age, location, interests etc. Some do a lot of intelligent matching online for you. I'd try there first where you'll part with a lot less money and have a much larger pool of people. If you want more dates to go on, then there's plenty of dating events you could try too.

Why reply to an old thread.
The OP has probably been married and divorced by now
  • It's horrible! A girl wrote to me on a social network. She wanted to meet and said that she liked me. She constantly wrote me such nice and pleasant words. I was very happy. Then she told me that her mobile phone was broken and she could only write to me from a computer. I was very worried. I sent her money for a new phone. Then she said that she was ready to come to visit me. It was amazing for me! We met and I fell in love! But then she started acting weird .... She wanted a very expensive wedding! Everything is luxurious! I'm not rich, but I had money. We paid the advance payment for the wedding. After a while, she took my advance from the wedding agency and disappeared. It was the biggest tragedy and pain for me ... A couple of months passed and I read a similar story on one site ... And I thought how sorry I hadn't read it before ... Please read this and be careful!

Sadly, every day there seems to be a story of someone being scammed in some way or other.
Sometimes, it's just some random stranger chancing it by a cold call or text telling you your internet is being cut off, in your case it was much more personal and must hurt even more.
