We are allowed up to two days per month which is pretty good. The best part for me though is finally getting something back for the time and effort I put inMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Have a lovely weekend too Lou
. I have some Parma Violet gin here that I'm settling down to. It's not bad with (a lot of) lemonade. I'm raising a glass to you.
LMG and I met up with my sis and Peachy today. Popped to the supermarket for toilet roll, bread and milk. £57 later  that's the balance of the Asda card gone for the month. LMG gave me £9 towards something she wanted so I spent £5 from the grocery account. That leaves £65 to last until the end of the month. That's totally doable if I'm careful. I've got plenty of toilet roll/kitchen roll/washing stuff/cleaning stuff/shower gel/etc, etc so it's just food to think about. Breakfasts are all covered (although may need a milk and bread top up in a week) and I can eat out of the cupboards and freezer when I'm on my own. I'll have to be imaginative when the others are in for tea. Jack Monroe; I'm looking for your assistance this month (I have two of their books).
I have two "days" out this week. Lunch with my sis on Thursday (she's paying and I don't need any money), a work leaving lunch on Friday (shouldn't be expensive, we've already talked about going somewhere reasonable) then a late afternoon/early evening with my besties and a couple of others later on that day. We got deal vouchers for drinks and have already paid for them. It's drinks and nibbles so we'll have a wee bit of food but I'll likely head off once the vouchers are used as I don't want to be spending too much. I put some money aside for it but the less I can spend, the better.
I'm just settling down to the gin and some cooncil telly as my Firestick is away getting fixed

I have never had the Parma violet gin. Enjoy:)
It's not bad. Definitely needs the lemonade to sweeten it though
Hopefully today will be a NSD. If I don't leave the house I'll be fine. I'm not an online shopper for wants, just for needs and I don't need anything right now.
I've been torturing myself by looking at holidaysLMG and her boyfriend are going away later in the year and she asked me to help her plan. It's exciting! I need to be realistic though, I can't afford a holiday right now.
I'm unofficially doing the 365 Day Penny Challenge from the Challenge board so if I succeed then there might be some funds for a wee holiday next year.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

It was a NSD yesterday so pleased with that. En route to another today, fingers crossed.
I have to go out and cut the grass so I'm procrastinating right now. I don't mind doing it once I'm out there, it's the getting out that's the problem. If I don't do it, it will get too long for me to cope with and I'll have to pay someone to do it so that's my incentive for doing it. You'd think that in a block of 6 flats someone else would help, but no. I got so mad (and was ill for a bit) I stopped doing it and it got out of control. The woman who owns the flat below me (rents it out) came along one day and was shocked by the state of it so paid someone to do it. I was so grateful that someone else finally cared. I don't want it to end up like that again so it's down to me again. At least I'm healthier now so I can cope better but it annoys me that no one else bothers.

Oh my goodness. I'm clearly not back to full fitness. I'm not finished the grass and I've had to stop. I need to go in the shower but I'm having to have a lie down first.
