Definitely doable, and you're doing so well - great news about the course too0

Thank you both
Got confirmation today that I can go ahead and do the course. I'll look at that over the weekend.
We're doing a desk shuffle at work today so I was allowed to leave early. The amount of extra hours I've gone for them more than makes up for it so I'm happily on my way home an hour and a half earlier than usual
Just me for tea tonight as LMG is working until 8pm.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
Mortgage today = £161,690.76

I'm impatient so I ordered the course materials this afternoon (had permission from boss to put it on my credit card - more points for me - and claim it back on expenses). Then I went to register with the professional body but kept getting an error message  so cant complete registration. I have emailed them and they should get back to me next week.
In amongst raging at my phone and laptop (tried registration on both in case it wasn't accepting it on my phone for some reason) I noticed a sentence that said something along the lines of "if you register now you get the rest of the year's subscription free". I'm wondering if that means I might pay the registration fee and not have to pay the year's subscription for this year. We are already more than half way through the year (it's a calendar year) so that would be nice. I won't find out until I've completed registration though..
I've got leftovers from tea on Wednesday night in the fridge that I forgot about. Think I'll heat that up and have it for tea tonight.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Yesterday I managed to go to the supermarket and only buy milk and butter. My eyes wandered to the cheese but I closed them and kept walking until I was safely past. I purposely did not venture down any other aisle and used tunnel vision to get past the ends of the aisles. Used the £4 in my purse and got 41p change. I've put the 41p in the Challenge pot. I still have £6 in the grocery account so that's what's left in the budget to last until Wednesday. I don't need anything else.
NSD planned for today as I have laundry to do and going to my folks' for tea. Mum's making chilli tonight.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Some exciting and some potentially exciting news.
Exciting: I managed to register as a student with the professional body for the course. Sure enough, it was only the registration fee I had to pay, £77. No further fees to pay for the rest of this calendar year :j :j I have uplifted £77 from the account I was stashing the tax credits in and that should hit my main account tomorrow, to then go to the cc account. Just need to submit my expenses at work tomorrow for the course materials. Think we are doing a payment run on Friday this week or, worst case, next Monday so that's well before my next statement is due (around 25th August).
My folks want to move house so have been clearing out and have found old bags of stuff in their attic that belonged to me when I lived there. I know most people say if you haven't looked in a bag/box for a certain amount of time then you should just bin it. However, I am no such person and have been slowly going through them. Yesterday I found scan pics of LMG :smileyhea which I'm so happy to have. I thought they had been destroyed when we left her dad.
Potentially exciting: Also in those bags I have found an old credit card statement from 1998. It shows that I had PPI. I remember having the credit card and I remember the guy telling me at the time that it came automatically with the card but not to worry as I only had to pay when there was a balance on the card. I have never done anything about this before now because I couldn't remember the card provider, never mind any dates or details. I have now submitted a claim so fingers crossed I get something back.
I clearly remember querying it because I didn't want it and that was the answer he gave me. I accepted it because I didn't know any better.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
