    Mini fans the only place I have seen them is £1 shops, but that was in the summer, hmm, I'll keep my eyes open for you, few on ebay just seen 99p and 99p postage on some.

    I'm sat here wondering what a plectrum is :rotfl:

    Have you tried fleabay for the cameras aswell?

    my mum got me a dirt cheap digital camera on pricedrop (the tv prog website). think it was about £26 incl postage. not sure if it was rechargeable but you could always use rechargeable batts anyway. i'll keep an eye out for a fan too in the 99p / £1 shops!

  • Might start the kitchen tonight, going to be up for a while, I need to finish writing a story for my friends birthday present, and I've got writers block!

    Managed to get hold of my bottle of Asbach today, it's now safely wrapped and added to the present pile. :D

    Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
    Level One
    Clean floors in these areas
    Level Two
    Wipe down surfaces
    Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards
    Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, fridge, freezer etc)
    Level Three
    Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
    Wipe & replace small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
    Clean washer drawer, filters on the dryer, dishwasher and cooker hood filters
    Clean the oven if you missed it last week or it needs it

    Extra tasks if you want to do more
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    • Empty one shelf, clean it, clean what's on it and put it all back
    • Clean out and organize one cupboard, more if you like
    • Check the freezer, see what you have which needs using to make room for Xmas goodies
    Daily Tasks:
    Dishes

    Brush dog
    Walkies
    Clean yard
    At least 30 minutes writing

    To do list:
    Wash and vacuum car.
    Sort out the pile of [strike]junk[/strike] quality items that didn't sell at the boot sale.
    Ring local paper and list some of ^^^ for sale. List rest on eBay.
    Get some plaster mix & fix hole in the kitchen wall (made by poochie!)
    Fix hinges on bathroom cabinet.

    Xmas To do list:

    Dad ~ Make some shortbread.
    Granny ~ Order xmas hamper.
    Friends baby ~ Buy £10 voucher.
    Best friend ~ Make Calender.
    Write cards.

    Will check out previous posts tonight (cos I'm at work atm) . . . but in the meantime:

    Clean floors in these areas - am wiping them over with a magic sponge - wooden laminate flooring has dirt in the grain that normal washing won't get rid of :(
    Level Two

    Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, firdge, freezer etc) Done

    Level Three

    i really must get to bed, got distracted watching a film with the gorgeous Ben Affleck. I did send an email in the end, basically as Jill said, just saying I wanted to be clear! don't suppose it can do me any harm - hope not! put my mind at rest a bit!

    I'm still up too.. got to change DS2 in a mo so no point going off just yet must write Twinks hob nob recipe out again its 'filed' somewhere and I can't find it *not that my kitchens a mess again just have quite a few bits of white paper laying around honest* :D ooh *laying around in a tidy pile* !!!!

  • Hi, can another newbie join please? work 3 1/2 days a week, do jobs for my disabled mum, doing my nvq and still attempting to be a mum! The housework has seriously suffered, so will try to do levels 1 & 2 in the evenings
    :DA smile costs nothing to give but enriches those it is given to!:D
