I am trying SO hard to keep on top of the ironing. Every Sunday eve I watch tv while doing it. Where it used to take me close to 2 hours to do (cos I left it so long) it doesnt take me 30 mins now (there is only 2 of us) :j

Well you didn't quite kill me off last week...although OH is muttering something about RSI :rotfl: so we're in again (he has another week off left yet.. )
I want to have an even better declutter this week as I can see specks of carpet in places I haven't seen for years!:rotfl:

Well I'm a relative newcomer (ok well a few months now) but if you have posted a question and someone responds you can thank them, or if you find a post useful then you can thank. That was my interpretation but I'm sure someone will correct me if otherwise :o

PS I really am off to iron in a min
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Hello everyone (and the newbies) :hello:

I'm in again, however I'm back at work full time from tomorrow so my flying is going to be done in the evening now . I'm determined to do it  but we'll see how long that lasts :rotfl:

Anyway, packups done for tomorrow (except sandwiches which are done in morning), Pots peeled for tomorrows tea, Cheese grated for tea. Kitchen had a "deep clean" in the week and is still looking sparkly!! Dishes from dinner have been washed, rest of kitchen has been tidied and S&S'd so all I need to do tomorrow is give the floor a good clean. The bins are out and all washing & ironing has been put away, so I'm going to chill out now for abit.

    See you later

  • I'm going to try again this week. Things went a bit haywire last week, but the house definately looks better than had I not joined in at all, plus I managed to start tackling the huge ironing pile multiplying in the corner :j . I've got quite a busy week again but anything is better than nothing :rotfl:
