Off to watch spooks on video with hubbie - soaked my feet last night and removed the goat affect so might get him to give them a squeezeThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi All
I am in this week and going to try and do at least level 1.
Kerry is now 10 weeks nearly (where has the time gone) and things are settling down though she wont sleep properly in the day, she is a right wee catnapper, so we'll have to see how we get on doing much in the day.
I keep figuring though if I could getthe flying done with the older two under my feet all summer whilst heavily pregnant and wrecked then surely I can whizz around now and get more done. Have a ghastly cold though so will see how I feel with that.
In the evenings I need to get on top of our finances.
So list for tomorrow is:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
Level One
Clean floors in these areas
Level Two
Wipe down surfaces
Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards
Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, firdge, freezer etc)
Clean out and organize one cupboard
Daily stuff:
Kids up dressed breakfasted etc
Empty DW
Clear up breakfast things
Washing into TD
Drop DS to school and OH to work
Phone and book creche for baby for next week
Make up packed lunch to take for after DD swimming
Take DD swimming
Clear up from lunch
Put dry laundry away
Do tea
Clear up from tea
Kids bath and bedtime
Evening:
Sort out Christmas presents and work out whats left to buy
Wrap presents to take to NI at weekend
Compare online statement with my finances spreadsheet
Right off to bed to nurse my cold,

hello all
i'm in this weekwant to get stuff extra sparkly as MiL to be is coming to visit on saturday (not that she would comment anyway, she's lovely, and my house is cleaner & tidier anyway i think!).
now home from OH's, straight to work tonight and and now back and cold. gonna watch last night's casualty in a minute i think.
am v edgey re the job....am really worried that i'm not going to get it because their funding starts jan 2nd and i can't start til march 1st. i did say i wanted the job a lot and was willing to do what i could (including working half time for them from jan) to make it work, but i think i may've left them a bit confused re dates. i'm wondering whether to email the HR woman who interviewed me and have been in touch with in the run up to the interview to just lay out my dates and intentions in writing (or is that bad form?) aaahhhhh. it's hard to want something so bad!!!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Welcome to the newbies, JillD welcome back, wow 10 weeks already!!! I bet she's some size now, gosh how time flies.
Rach, stop fretting, if it doesn't happen then it wasn't mean't to be, something will come up.
Pigpen I didn't realise it was specific shops, will have to have a look again in a mo, I don't ever read things properly
Well I made a small start on the kitchen and the cooker stands and metal bits are in a sink of starclens, oh and I've found another drawer in the kitchen under the cooker, urgh, it was as manky as the cooker, so bad I had to VACUUM it out before I could wipe it, yak. Done now and will fill it tomorrow, it's only shallow but some of the baking trays which have been living in the oven will fit in there.
Meeting cancelled tomorrow night but loads to do during the day, car is due at the garage at 10am, hope this time they sort the brakes out properly aswell as the plastic part it's going in to have fitted. They work but VERY noisy when not braking. DP is tying cable ties on the wheel trims so we can see if they've actually done anything. It's been back 5 times now to the garage and still not finished.
Need to pick some key fob alarm things up we won for the Volvo on ebay, a good 20 miles away but DP decided was a good idea to collect them, we've managed 3 years with just one but always a worry as it starts to play up a bit as the keys don't work in the door. Still need to collect the item off freecycle too which is near where the meeting was supposed to be, saying that I don't mind the petrol when it saves me buying a VCR which would have cost much more.
I should really empty the DW and refil with what is waiting before I got to bedbut I so can't be bothered, think I need to kick myself up the bum.
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi Rach
just noticed your sig and the weight loss - well done
On the job thing, you could email the woman under the pretext of thanking her for the interview, something along those lines, and then reiterate your dates but keep that bit brief ?Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

N-newbie.. the only place that appears to do amazon now is ecashback.co.uk Pigsback stopped doing them a while back, as far as I am aware.
Nowhere does disney store though and I just had to place an order there.. few bits for the chimps. I've ordered a parcel of books through quidco today too.. and I'm placing a MASSIVE Lush order on Wednesday.. I LOVE those parcels.. they make my bedroom smell divine until christmas when I give it all away!!
Any ideas where I can get one of those stupid little mini fans from?? DS3 is DESPERATE for one.. he is bit of a loon I know.. but it was the first thing on his christmas list so I can't not get him one can I?
AND I need 3 cheap digital cameras with rechargable on-board batteries.. anyone?? I don't want to spend more than £30 EACH!! I am SO tight!! lol
DS3 was amusing.. he wants..
a mini fan
a box of plectrums
box of smarties
and a pikachu!
How easy pleased are my lot?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
