Just caught up... grey and rain all day here, so no work today. I'm not too sorry, as I would have been helping to clear rubble into a skip to clear an area for a new kitchen garden, and that's exhausting! I couldn't face doing that in the rain as well.

I did the living room and hall yesterday, so had a day off today - although I did make soup, a casserole for dinner, and a lemon drizzle cake.

DD's Choices evening for 6th form options tonight, and I can't really believe that she's old enough for this to happen just yet!

lil_me - I was very sorry to read of the accident, and I hope that you are feeling very much better now.

hugs to all those who need one - timer just about to go for dinner!

  • I'm done :j

Had tea then took DS to footy practice, got back and washed up dishes, S&S kitchen, dusted lounge & skirting on stairs, wiped sofas and hoovered lounge, hall & stairs then kitchen.
Fetched DS from football, hes dripping wet and in a foul mood. Just wiped laminate floors and thats my lot for today!!

Popped into Morrisons as well and got card, also window cleaner been for his money - typical he always comes when it rains  .

Going to have an early night tonight (about 9ish if I can last that long :o ) as I'm exhausted.

    See you tomorrow

Well I've tidied the floor up in the living room and that's about it! I'm shattered after my early start this morning so I'm going to go to bed.

    Hiya
Wonder if anyone on here can advise me what to do as i'm feeling a little freaked out. About two months ago I received a text asking if I did massage and what I charged. Now, I do aromatherapy massage as part of my business but as I work from home I don't take on people who haven't been passed on to me by word of mouth. This person gave a male name so I text back that I didn't and passed on the name of a therapist I know who works in the safety of a salon. I had the presense of mind to save his number as 'fred' so I'd know if he phoned or text again. The next day he sent the same message but signed it from a different name. A week later he did the same. This is usually in the morning which I thought odd as I thought if some idiot was trying to scare me he'd be more likely to do it if he'd had a few beers. Anyway, a couple of weeks later he did the same and changed his name again. At this point I text him back to say...as I told you with your original name I don't do this. Anyway, I heard nothing else so thought it was over. 9pm tonight i've had exactly the same text but from a new number. What do I do? I don't want to text him back. It's freaked me because it's gone on so long and DH is working away so I just feel a bit more vunerable. Any replies welcome? I'm not sure I can report him because he's not been abusive. Thanks in advance xx
