Sorry to hear about your parents friend.
Good news on the other fronts and fingers crossed for BF on Wednesday and your meeting with the director.

    Thanks Jess and NG! ❤

Holiday is all paid for, £595 in total but that includes taking 2x dogs and insurance. Really looking forward to getting away now.

I'm all good, just working hard. I've been doing my training with the production director, who knew making timber windows and doors is so complicated, but I seem to be grasping how it moves through the factory. Boss has confirmed that I will definitely be getting a pay rise but hasn't said how much yet. I'm on £21k at the moment, so I'm hoping for at least £23k.

BF got the job in the Design Team and starts in January. His annual salary is more and he will get more holidays but no overtime. He seems happy anyway and I'm pleased for him.

Not a lot else to report. It's been an expensive month with paying for the holiday and BF's birthday, so looking forward to pay day!

    Take care x

Hello @Jessy103 just found your diary! I will be slowly catching up, but just wanted to say hello and well done on being able to start again on your own. Your bungalow sounds ideal for a single person and two dogs! Lucky you are also close to family for support especially on hindsight with the pandemic we ended up having to go through. By now you must have settled in well? Xx

    Thanks NG and Sistergold ❤

@Sistergold Thanks for reading! I have certainty settled in but still to do any decorating! I've been so engrossed in just overpaying the mortgage, I haven't actually done anything to the house to make it feel my own. I think this will change next year and I hope to make it more homely, at the moment it's just all white walls.

The usual mortgage payment has come out and I've paid some extra, so the new total is £52,800 and my LTV is now 58%. I'm thinking about targets for next year and I will be really happy if I can get under £45K by the end of 2022.
The savings needs work as I currently only have £400. I need to get this up, £10K would be ideal but that will take a lot of hard work and I'm going to give myself a target of the end of 2025.

I've got started on my Christmas shopping and that will be all done by the end of this month.

    Take care x
