I'm starting to think that Christmas should just be scrapped, it would save us all so much hassle and money! 😂
I made another op to the mortgage and it is now £53,700. As much as I'd like to get under £50k by the end of the year £52k seems more realistic and means in 2.5 years I've paid off £20k which I'm very proud of 😃
Rescue dog is booked in to be neutered in a couple of weeks and that will set me back about £160. Needs to be done though, for his health and so I don't end up with someone knocking on my door with a bunch of puppies, even though that would be my idea of a dream come true 😂 I'm hoping my pay out from streaming will cover the cost though as I'm over the £100 payout threshold.
Have a great weekend x

Well done on the MB I have been doing it for over 2 years now and really enjoy it and make on average about 4 to 4.5k a year so it's really useful.
Glad you sorted your glasses out, I think learning to drive is an important skill that's useful not just for work but for life, emergencies and travel. I can understand why you have chosen not learn so far with your sight but how great that does not limit you now.DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Not a huge amount to report this week.
Made £10 from Swagbucks, so that's good. I should get a payment from my streaming in a couple of days and hopefully that will pay for rescue dog's neuter on Friday. Only a 4 day work week and then not back in until the following Thursday. I've got to make sure rescue dog doesn't pull out his stitches. It does give me plenty of extra streaming time though.
BF has had some news from work which we have had a think about. If he stays in the factory he can go down to 4 days a week. This would mean a cut in pay but Fridays off which would give him a chance to look for a better job and/or a better work/life balance. Alternatively, he has gone for a job in the Design Team in the offices with me. This would mean a 5 day work week still but more holidays and increased pay when he has finished training. We would prefer he got the latter but if he doesn't a 4 day work week would be nice. We now just have to wait and see, but fingers crossed he gets the change of job role.
Had a really nice walk yesterday with the dogs, my parents and their new dog, followed by tea and cake.
Shortlisted a couple of places for our Christmas holiday. Just need payday to come to book it, I'm reluctant to dip into the savings and would rather wait. Do need to start thinking about Christmas presents for people though 😱

Hi @Jessy103, when we had our rescue boy dog done we purchased a t-shirt !!!!!! baby gro from the vets which prevented any nibbling of stitches. Ours cost £10 but I think it depends on the size of your dog.Mortgage Free November 2018

Well, that's another week done!
I had Friday off to take rescue dog to the vets for his plums removing. Now £175 lighter but that did include buying a medical pet shirt (a baby grow for dogs) to prevent him licking his stitches. He's back tomorrow for a check up but I keep checking his stitches and all seems well. I've booked a few days off work to keep an eye on him but I will be able to stream in that time and make a few extra quid.
I did something naughty this weekend and bought 12 bottles of wine from virginwines. I had a £50 voucher but still spent £70, it does only work out at just under £6 a bottle. I plan on gifting some, well only if I don't like them
I've also bought a couple of films this weekend as we couldn't go out so bit of a speedy weekend. I get paid this week so should be fine.
