What a beautiful face... he is gorgeous!! XXI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy2 -

Thanks all 😃 He is a beaut! He did have an accident today and pooped on the floor, we had locked him and dog 2 out of the bedroom while me and BF caught up on an episode of Taskmaster, just so they can get used to being together, separate from us, so I believe it was a dirty protest! 😂
I got in touch with petlog today and registered his microchip with them, which hadn't been done, even though he had his chip implanted in September 19. I assume his previous owner didn't want to pay the £17 it costs to have it done! It's a small price to pay to give you the chance of being reunited with your pet in case they are ever lost, but we've already established the previous owner is not the best of people and could quite frankly do with a good telling off! (That is the polite way of saying how I feel anyway!)
We have had the news that we are going in to tier 4 tomorrow and I feel extremely anxious about going back to work next week. I'm thinking of asking the boss if I can work from home for more than one day a week, the worst he can do is say no!
In finance news, at the end of 2020 the mortgage balance is at £61,000, it's not under £60k as I hoped but still very good. My target for the end of 2021 is £55,000 or under. I've put down a target of 3k overpayments in the MFW 2021 challenge, which is doable.
The emergency fund is currently at £1,500. I do keep dipping in to this for extra mortgage overpayments because the interest rate is higher on the mortgage, it just seems to make more sense to get the mortgage paid off, but I do want to get the EF to £3,000 by the end of 2021.
Me and BF continue to have money chats, which is good. He even paid £1k off his credit card and now has £700 outstanding. It is 0% but I think he's starting to come round to the Martin Lewis way of thinking and paying them off IN FULL every month is best, so once he's gotten rid of that last £700 he won't be going back to using them, unless necessary. His confidence has grown since we first met and he's even applied for a couple of new jobs, I'm really proud of him.
It's been a tough year with covid and losing dog 1 so suddenly, but we've gotten through it and I think we're stronger for it. Here's to hoping 2021 is a lot better!
Take care, stay safe and Happy New Year to you, all the best for 2021 xMortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Happy new year to you and all your family (both the 2 and 4 leg variety). I agree that 2021 will be better and simpler for a lot of people as we have realised what actually is important ❤️SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)4
