Happy Sunday everyone!
We had a very productive day yesterday. BF went to work 5:30am-10:00am, he's worked out that all of his overtime this month comes to £680! I hope my next job comes with overtime! While he was at work I cleaned the house and then cooked us a brunch. We then went off to meet my best friend, her husband and dog at the park/lakes that's halfway between us both. It was a lovely afternoon and the dogs enjoyed running around. I have a feeling we'll be restricted or in another lockdown soon so it was good to see her before that happens. It certainly wouldn't surprise me considering the amount of people there in groups of more than 6 with absolutely no social distancing!! I then cooked fajitas for tea and we finished the latest series of Killing Eve on the BBC iplayer.
Today we're going to the local garden centre and shopping outlet. We've got a few birthdays coming up and i'd like to get a few Christmas presents too. We usually buy online but BF filled up the car with premium leaded last bank holiday weekend and still has 3/4s of a tank left, his car goes to scrap next weekend when he gets his new one, so we don't want the petrol to go to waste! He's even on about trying to siphon it! 😂
I had my appraisal at work Friday, no pay rise for me because everyone is working hard. Boss said he is open to it but I'd have to show cost saving measures in customer care. An impossible task when I have no say in the quality that comes out of the factory, which is what me and the engineer are having to sort out lately. Oh well, it certainly didn't give me any conflict as to whether I should stay or go!
I've been working on my surveys and I'll be streaming more video games to make some extra income because I've decided no more early mornings or late evenings for work, they can go swivel! 😂

Doesn't your BF work in the factory? Give him a kick up the *rse! Or could you ask if you can check all the items for your customers before they leave, as you'll see it from a customer's perspective rather than someone that has just made it?
Overtime is a wonderful thing 😍 I used to work somewhere where I signed up for very early overtime on all my days off. You always got sent home early but were still paid for either 6 or 8 hours, depending what day of the week it was. I worked 7 days a week for months, but it never felt like it as I was always back home and tucked up in bed by 6.30am. A couple of hours kip and then I still had my whole day off to enjoy! It was definitely the best thing about that job!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

He sure does, SC, but says it's not him 😂 Well they're talking about a quality control person which I'd be quite happy to do! Would certainly get me away from the customer care desk but they're not keen on that idea 😔
That does sound nice SC! Fingers crossed we both get nice new jobs with overtime!😀
We went to the garden centre and they had the Christmas stuff out! 😱 I did say to BF that they're maybe predicting another lockdown so getting it out early to try and make the usual amount of money. I did get a few Christmas presents from there and the shopping outlet though. We did decide to have lunch out at Fr4nky & B3nnys. We said that we need to be spontaneous and it might be the last chance we get for a while! It was yummy!
Payday on Friday, which I can't wait for!

Happy Saturday!
We got paid yesterday, so money moved into savings and I have made an overpayment of £92.98 to the mortgage to round it down to £63,500.
We went to pick up BF's new car today, he was like a kid at Christmas! Bless him! It really is very nice and certainly a lot easier to get in and out of! 😂
We went to the r4ng3 while we were out and got a few more Christmas presents. We'll be going for a drive out tomorrow to take the dogs for a walk somewhere nice.
I got two rejections from job applications yesterday, so hopes of being able to leave my current job have faded a little bit but I need to stay positive! Something will come up!
Have a lovely weekend! 😀

Good luck with the job search.

At least you are getting the rejections though, the jobs I'm applying for aren't even bothering to get back to me one way or the other 😥 Something will definitely come up, I've been really surprised by how much is about actually (although I obvs don't know how many applicants they're getting for each role 😮!)
I can't even think about Christmas yet, it still seems a very long way away! Fortunately I have hardly anyone to buy for though, as BF and I have been on a "ceasefire" for years 😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Thanks MFD and I don't blame you, I think we need something to look forward to and be cheery about, even if it does mean Christmas goes on a bit longer than usual! 😀
Oh that sucks SC! I hate it when you don't hear back. I know they might have a lot of people but a standard email saying sorry not this time doesn't take a minute!
I know what you mean about there being a lot about. Unfortunately, a lot of the jobs there is that I think would be good so I can do something different, I have no experience in so I think I'm being overlooked. But how can you get experience if you don't get a chance!
I think I'm trying to get sorted early for Christmas because I'm convinced we're going to be in lockdown again soon and maybe even over Christmas/ New year, so I plan on getting everything delivered to people early!

Unfortunately I think Christmas will be a muted affair this year...
We're stuck between two lockdown areas and I can only see rolling lockdowns until April, if not further UK wide restrictions. If it's not adding up, compound it!3 -
I don’t think Christmas will be up to much either. I was already wfh until after Christmas but now I suspect it could be Easter. Think I might stock up on kids dvds from the charity shops to see us through a few film nights during the festive period as no doubt free tv will be rubbish as usual; and can someone please tell me when I turned into my mother! 😵SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)6
