    Well, it's the weekend again!

I had yesterday off work, which was lovely. Did a few jobs round the house in the morning, cleaning windows inside and out, changing bedding, cleaning and fixed a leak under the kitchen sink. Then in the afternoon streamed a new video game and got a few new subs, so I'm working my way nicely to a £100 payout. I then had some cash left in my purse from my birthday so we had a nice Indian takeaway for tea.
I can now have a nice lazy day with BF, although the material for my diy face masks finally arrived, so I can have a go at making those. My parents have asked for one making too and my nan has asked for one with butterflies because she doesn't like the material I've chosen! 😂

We've also been invited round to my parents for pizza tonight so that helps towards our not buying food until t3sc0 comes Monday evening (the Indian takeaway last night doesn't count!😂)

    Have a lovely weekend! 😀

I've just called Natwest. I have an overpayment allowance of £5398.12 until 26/06/21 which is achievable. I also asked how much of a repayment penalty there would be if I went over the allowance and it is 4% of what I overpay, so if I overpay an additional £1000 I would be charged £40. Definitely a lot less than what I thought it would be and certainly some food for thought!

    Happy Saturday!

Well, another fun packed week has passed by 😂
The interest has been added on to the mortgage and the good news is that it is now under £200 a month. The new total is £64,589.96. I've made a small payment of £39.96 to round it down. I will make another small payment after my normal monthly payment has come off to round down and the rest of the money I would usually use for overpayments will go into one of my savings pots until it is up to £1000.

I got my test results back and I am low on B12 so I'm now on tablets for that! Work is the same old so I had words with my supervisor and M.D the other day. I can now work one day a week from home where there are no distractions so that I can get more work done in a day. The boiler is going to replaced 10th August! Yippee! Once the money has gone out for that I will have £2k left in the EF, my target will then be to build that back up to £5k.

I made face masks for me, BF and my parents last weekend. They're not perfect but overall I'm pleased with them, just need to make two for my grandparents now!

    Have a lovely day! X

All sounding positive Jessy, good idea to ask nicely for a little extra money 😀 I know what you mean about material things, just wish I could convince BF. He and his son have parcels arriving daily, it's stressing me out!!!

Good news if you are away from your current manager jessy and that you get on with the colleague  that’s moving with you. I feel your frustration, I feel a lot of companies are using COVID  as a reason to seriously slim down the workforce partially or sometimes wholly subsidised by the government. I think managing to keep companies running on a lower workforce temporarily has given the impression that staff numbers can be reduced easily and the slack picked up by others, but there are still only so many hours in the day!
