Thanks Vix and SC x
Sorry guys, I didn't make it clear, they're making him redundant as a Procurement Manager because they've put a new stock control system in but then hiring a Finance Administrator who will run that stock control system and do some accounts work. It sucks but unfortunately they're not doing anything wrong. 😢Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.
Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000.

Thanks guys, I really hope they can find him something else, we shall know more on Tuesday.
I paid the pesky £46.79 off the mortgage so the new total is £64,400. With everything going on at work I'm even more determined to get rid of this mortgage!
I bought some material and elastic off Am4z0n this morning to make some face masks with. I figured if I need to use the bus at anytime, I need one and also for appointments, shopping e.t.c. It's some very pretty Day of the Dead skulls fabric, probably not the most appropriate pattern but so pretty and colourful! It should all arrive this week so I can have a go next weekend.
My mum's 60th birthday is tomorrow so we're going for a socially distanced bbq today. I'm pleased with how the cross-stitch card turned out for her anyway!
Have a lovely Sunday xMortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

That’s beautiful jessy, I’m sure she will love it!Sorry to hear about your colleague, I think there will be a lot of companies clearing out staff they want to do away with or replace and often they find a way to work around the redundancy rules. Even if they break them I fear that at the moment there will be such an avalanche of unfair dismal claims that lots may slip through the net ☹️MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3

Thanks NG
I have to agree, I think companies will use the pandemic as an excuse to get rid of people they don't think fit in with their ways!Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.
