Hi Jessy, I'm still working as you know and all of our customers are so understanding that nothing is getting done for some time (I think we both send people into houses?). Even when we offer to do something at the moment, they usually decline. I'm hoping for a few weeks' leeway when we fully re-open before they realise we're back and the madness begins! Hope that helps a bit xMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Well, as of tomorrow afternoon we will have another mouth to feed as BF's son is coming to stay for the unforeseeable future. BF had a message from his ex asking if his was on furlough and if so could he come stay with us because she was, and I quote 'fed up of being around him 24/7' We wanted him to come stay back near Easter when the lockdown began but she didn't want him to come because she thought he wouldn't be safe (we live in a rural area, are on furlough and have a car. She works and lives in a town, works in a shop and uses public transport. I don't think she thought that one through!). Anyway, it's good news because we didn't expect to see him for a long time and as the government has said that children can travel between parents, it's all good.
I have managed to get a T3sc0 delivery slot this evening for tomorrow afternoon, so have ordered our normal shop plus extra to feed us all. BF has transferred some extra money to pay for it.
It'll be a welcome distraction having him stay with us and will take my !one off worrying about work for a while. It'll also give me a chance to work on meal plans for three people so I'm prepared for future visits.
Take care and stay safe xMortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Yeah, you can see why your BF's not with her any more 😂! Poor son though, hope he didn't feel too unwelcome in his own home 😦 Much better with you and BF and the dogsMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Thanks Vix and SC!
From what I've heard and seen myself, BF was dumped the minute she was pregnant, as he was no longer required in her plan. Unfortunately, it seems she had their son for the wrong reasons, but we won't go into that!
In the few hours that BF has been gone so far, I have cleaned the bathroom and painted the skirting boards in the bathroom (Been meaning to do this for ages but getting up early this morning, I had the motivation to finally do it!), walked the dogs, cleaned out the budgie, hoovered, mopped, polished, got our clothes washed, dried and put away, stripped and put fresh bedding on the bed (dirty bedding is now in the wash), and made up the sofa bed for the boyo. I've just sat down and I'm pooped! 😂
They'll be back in about 45mins, all being well (the car did have a flat battery this morning because we haven't used it in a month, luckily my dad was around to help jump start it) I'll probably make some soup and sandwiches for lunch and then we'll have a pizza, wedges and onion rings for tea to celebrate boyo being here.
Have a lovely Sunday x

Thanks greent & Vix!
They've arrived back safely and we've had lunch. BF and the boyo are now making a start on the model aeroplane boyo got bought for Christmas, should keep them quiet. I'm going to start on the 4 Prima magazines my mum posted through the door the other day.
