Loving the dog bed 😀
I haven't had a survey on Prolific since 6 April 😦 I'm still checking it as much, but there's just never anything there. It's very annoying, as I have a £4.47 balance - at least let me do a 53p survey so I can cash out!!!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!3 -
Thanks SC

No, I'm 100% on the profile 😦 It does sometimes go quiet for a couple of weeks, just thought there would be lots of virus surveys postedMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Hi All!
I cashed out £6.43 from Prolific today, which has gone in the EF. The normal mortgage amount has gone out today and the total is £66,196.79. I have made a small overpayment of £46.79 to round it down to £66,150.00. I'm so close to crossing off the £66K box on my chart but resisting the temptation to dip in the EF to do so. It's a struggle!!
We received our weekly updated from work last night. I should be getting a call from my supervisor next week with a personal update and plan to when I should be going back. It also said that in the short term the company is ok but if a recession hits, in the long term it may cause difficulties. I don't know what I'm more anxious about, going back to work and the customer complaints or losing my job and not being able to pay the bills (although that wouldn't be a problem for several months thanks to the EF).Overall, I'm feeling a bit down today.
I went to the C0 0p yesterday for a small shop but ended up spending £30. I bought the expensive cheesy garlic bread, I know I shouldn't but it's such a nice treat to have. I also bought chocolate and cider!! I really need to get these spends under control but I can't help but love the naughty food and drink!
In mse news, we spray painted a used coleslaw pot with some rose gold spray paint we had left over from when we had to paint some hooks that were going to be visible and needed to match the artwork we'd bought. It looks really good and I've moved a couple of my seedlings into it. I'm curious to see if zinnias and cosmos can grow on an internal window cill as well as outside, I shall let you know!.
Have a lovely evening. Take care and stay safe xMortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.
