After not even working a full day at home, my supervisor rang me to advise that the company will be closing until further notice and we will be claiming for the 80% pay from the government. I cancelled the appointments that my engineer was due to go out to and now I'm done. It's sad and I can't help but worry about money and if I will have a job to go back to but I understand why they have done it. The pay for March has already been sent, I got my payslip today so that won't be affected. Now I have a lot of time to read my books and cross-stitch! BF will also be finishing today until further notice.
I went to the C0 0p today and managed to get a decent basket full which will last us over a week. My dad had a trip to t3sc0 and got some bits I wasn't able to get or refused to pay for - the cereal in the C0 0p is extortionate and I like my t3sc0 own brands. Still no loo rolls in either shop!! I did find myself wiping down all the packaging with an anti bacterial wipe when I got home.
Not much else to report at the moment, I guess we'll see what happens next!

Hopefully the government help sold ensure both companies can keep their heads above water until this is over.
I confess that I bought a chocolate bar when I went out - if government has added off licences to shops allowed to stay open because alcohol is essential, I figured I was allowed to pop in to newsagent for some chocolate. Washed it with soap and water when I got in (don’t normally buy plastic wrapped chocolate, but needs must!)!!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Sorry to hear the news Jessy, I guess working for the same company does leave you more exposed. Good you managed to get the payday in first though, so at least you have that as a certainty and like you've said you've got the skills to make sure you get the absolute most out of the money that you do getMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Thanks Vix and SC. We'll be fine, I'm sure of it.
We finished Doc Martin and have now started The Last Ship, it's about a USA navy ship that ends up being the last ship while a pandemic wipes out most of the population, probably not the best thing to watch in the current situation but a very good show none the less.
Tonight's tea was veg supreme pizza from the C0 0p, was more than I would usually pay for a pizza but was well worth it!

Ladies, ladies, you've just set back womens' lib 30 years 😂! Although I'm not one to talk, have been suggesting to BF since we first got together that I could be a kept woman but he's been strangely reluctant....😢Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

The Captain is played by Eric Dane (you may know him from Grey's Anatomy) and good gosh, he's a handsome chap!

Jessy, you're getting a bit 1950's surburbia again there - I mean lounging around drinking and bunging the occasional load of washing through (plus s*xual favours should he get a bonus/pay rise) - I would be a modern kept woman 😂😂😂Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
