We've had a lovely afternoon at my mum's 65th birthday afternoon tea. Lots of family there which was nice.
We came home and I cooked enchiladas for tea, one each was enough. I've still got some wine and chocolates from my birthday last week, so it's not been the healthiest food day!
Now just chilling out with the pups and a bit of diary reading. I'll continue with my book as well tonight, to help me sleep.
Here's the cross-stitch card that I made for my mum, she is a big lover of sloths!

Haha, I wish Daisy!
Bit of a blip with the forum again, hopefully all sorted now and it seems to be working 🤞
Yesterday was back to work, went in a bit early and will do for the next couple of days as we have the dentist on Friday afternoon and I would rather be in credit hours wise than have to put holiday in or make the time back late Friday, when I just want to get home. Boss is fine with this so happy days.
Customers washing done after work and then enchiladas made again for tea, as I had half the ingredients left from Sunday.
Today I've been at work and DH has had the day off to take Dog 3 to the vets for her blood tests and ultrasound. Good news is that they didn't find anything untoward and that unfortunately, she is just prone to utis. We will need to make sure she doesn't wee in long grass and on bushes, which she seems to enjoy and then get some wipes for her lady area to keep her clean and hopefully avoid any bacteria getting in and giving her an infection. Thankfully, she is a very laid back dog and didn't need a sedative, so the bill came in under the quoted amount at £510. DH has put it on his 0% credit card and I have given him £155 now and will give him the other £100 for my half of it on payday. Dog 3 now has a shaved belly and a shaved, bruised leg. Bless her.
After work I had a cleaning job and then DH cooked tea when I got home, he cooks what I call a beige tea, quorn nuggets, chips and beans. He likes to cook the easy meals 🤣
Here's Dog 3 just chilling with her shaved belly after causing drama! Spoilt madam! 🤣

Yesterday was work followed by a cleaning job and then we had what I call Mediterranean tart for tea, which is puff pastry with tomato puree spread over, spinach, onion, red pepper, cherry tomatoes, seasoning and mozzarella cheese on top.
Bit of drama at work as my lovely boss and two other people had been working for the company for 35 years, but as our HR team are awful, they forgot and didn't do anything for them! Everyone was most disgusted and can't see how the MD doesn't see how lazy they are! Anyway, to.make up for them being rubbish I baked lovely boss the flapjack he loves that I make, with a milk chocolate topping and a not very good 35 in white chocolate. It's not the prettiest of things but he was very chuffed when I gave it to him today and was showing it off. 🙂
I went for my hair cutting after work, so that's a lot neater and sorted until September. Tomorrow it is meant to be 30°c so the factory guys are all starting earlier and finishing early. Awful HR have said I'm not allowed to as I work in the factory office which has air con, boo! Lovely boss said I can start half an hour early though and finish half an hour early and he'll just tell them I had an appointment. He's a good egg!
Here's my wonderfully artistic flapjack 🤣 (it tasted better than it looked!)
