Thanks SC and Beanie x My god parents were there as well as they are stopping nearby for a long weekend, so it was lovely to see them too and the Chinese was delicious!

An early start this morning, as I was out with the dogs at 5am, while it was nice and cool. I've been cross stitching the rest of the day for my mums birthday next week and taking the dogs out for quick toilet breaks. Can't wait to have a garden!! I always think people must be judging me as well, thinking I'm an awful owner taking my dogs out for a walk in the heat. Truth is I always test the pavement with my bare feet or the back of my hand first and have taken them out one at a time before, carrying them to shade and a bit of communal grass across the road, so having a garden is going to be amazing! Only 18 months to go and I'm hoping we'll be able to start looking. I would like it to be sooner but that wouldn't be realistic, as I'm too old for a suagr daddy 🤣 We will get there eventually!

Tomorrow the allowance resets and I can make my big overpayment for the month! Woohoo! I'll also do a round up as it will have been 6 years since we moved in 🙂
And your husband might have something to say about that 😂 Sounds like a good plan though. Are you still thinking of letting or will you go on the sales market and see and happens?

    Belated Happy Birthday Jessy! 🥂🍰

Ouch to the vet costs - no doubt the variation depends on how much she has to be sedated or something… but definitely with you that they’ll find something to charge for.

    Thanks all ❤️

Unfortunately, bad news from the vets, as the policy was taken out Sept 24 and we first took Dog 3 in with this issue April 24, it may be seen as an existing condition and therefore the vets don't think the insurance will pay out and will not claim direct from them, we have to pay. I was also told that the tub I had put Dog 3's urine sample in was probably contaminated and that's why it didn't show anything else up. I have typed an email saying how disappointed I am, as all we have done is follow the vets advice and why on earth did they not provide us with a sterile container if our own container was going to be an issue! I have asked for detailed information on what they expect to find in the ultrasound and blood tests or are we just going to be told inconclusive and waste more money!  Also, I have asked for a  discount! We'll see what they come back with, but I've decided to look for another vets, they seem very fancy with good facilities but obviously not that good at their jobs 😡

Cleaning job 2 done, and I have 3 more to do this week, thank goodness it has cooled down. I was actually able to sleep last night and went through until a minute before my alarm was due to go off. I'm hoping tonight will be the same.

Not a lot else to report and more overpayments will have to wait until we know what is happening with Dog 3. Hopefully, the vets will sort themselves out and find out what the issue is so that Dog 3 can get some relief, bless her.

    Thanks Beanie ❤️

Unsurprisingly, I haven't had a response from the vets, so I am reluctant to take Dog 3 in on Tuesday, but I don't want her in pain or suffering while I look for another vet and then we have to start from stage 1 again, so she will be going. DH has taken the day off as she needs to be in for 9am, so he will drop her off and then pick her up later in the day. DH has more holidays left than me, as he is sensible with his and spreads them more evenly across the year 🤣

I haven't won anything again on the premium bonds, so have decided to cash £350 of the £400 in there out and made an overpayment to the mortgage instead, so the mortgage now stands at £14,900. Getting closer to that below £10k target by Christmas! I know I didn't have a lot in premium bonds but I haven't even won £25 in the couple of years I've had them, so it just doesn't seem worthwhile at the moment and I'm better off just getting rid of the mortgage and then saving after that.

Unfortunately one of my cleaning jobs was cancelled as my customer went away at short notice. It was a shame because it was a 2hr one as well, but I did have one yesterday and today. I've made £600 in the past two months with my little cleaning side business, which is very much appreciated whilst getting rid of this pesky mortgage. I do seem to be struggling mentally at the moment and feeling like I'm not making very much progress. Not sure if it's the heat, but I really hate my little bungalow at the moment and not having it set in stone as to when we can move out of here is getting me down. I know that we are very lucky to be in the position we are in and have a roof over our heads, but when you don't have any outside space or a lot of room, even the smallest things, like not being able to hang the washing outside is making me resent it. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's not always easy. I guess I have to turn that hate into determination and work even harder to get out of here! 💪
