Not good is it, Beanie. They're not terrible neighbours, but they're very up themselves and because they live in a big house with a big garden and we're just joined on in a little bungalow at the side, we're not worthy of their time. They love the neighbours the other side though because they also have a big house and garden (funny that), but those neighbours are actually lovely people and will stand and have a nice chat with you. It makes me definitely want a detached property when we move.

On that front a small overpayment made as the normal DD amount has been taken off, so the mortgage is now £16,700. My birthday is at the end of the month, so hoping for a bit of money to make an extra overpayment, although I MUST buy myself a couple of new bras, I've got quite few older than most of the kids in the village 🤣

We went to a whippet meet up this morning which was in a wooded paddock and the dogs loved it, as well as myself, there's something about walking in woods that is super calming. They also had a beautiful rainbow bridge to remember all the lost pets. You can pay to have a name tag added to it or their collar put on it. Was very moving to see. Back to work tomorrow, but trying to not to dwell on that and I only have to work 3 weeks and 4 days until I'm off for a nice long weekend for my birthday, we got this 💪

    The rainbow bridge ❤️

    It was lovely, Jess.

Beanie, I usually do use M&S but I haven't been overly impressed with them lately. I bought some new knickers from them last year and they just didn't fit right and weren't overly comfortable, so I ended up ordering some from Amazon and absolutely brilliant, so I ended up ordering another pack in a different colour (when I say different colour, all my underwear is either black or white 🤣). Anyway, it's left me a bit reluctant to get any new bras from M&S, so I think I'll try somewhere different. My work bestie highly recommended a website called Conturve, where she'd ordered a couple and been very impressed. She's quite a well endowed lady as well, so I think I'll try one or two from there.

Thanks SC and I hope so! ❤️

2hr cleaning job was tough on Thursday and my arms ached yesterday morning! I think it was good on the old bingo wings though 🤣 It was literally tiled on 3 walls, the ceiling and floor, so a lot of scrubbing. I had my trousers rolled up and bare feet but with a bit of singing along to greatest hits radio it got done and the customer was pleased with the result. I had a bit of time left over, so did the insides of some of the downstairs windows as well. I'm booked to go back in 2 weeks where we will be tackling her huge Welsh dresser and all the China plates, cups, saucers etc that she has on it, little bit nervous about that one, but I am insured 😅

Yesterday was office and then cleaning for my grandad after. He is 90yo and going on a trip to Whitby with my aunt this coming week. He had bought some coloured tags with string and written his name and address on one to attach to his suitcase, like Paddington Bear! Not sure where he thinks he's going to lose it, bless him!

This morning, I've been to another cleaning job for my neighbour across the road and we had a good natter while I did the skirting boards and woodwork in her living room. She's wanting to tackle the kitchen cupboards next time. Overall a busy but productive week.

I haven't won on the premium bonds again but looking at how much the winners tend to have in their accounts, I don't stand much of chance, so I thought I'd have a little go at the postcode lottery. Its £12 a month, so not much more than having a TV subscription and I'm hoping someone will come knocking at the door 🙂

Washing has been done and is now drying around the house. As we don't have an outside washing line, I've taken to putting clothes on a hanger and then hanging them on the curtain poles with the windows open. It seems to be the best strategy to drying things quickly. Socks and underwear go on the fold out airer then. Jessy's top tip there for you 🤣

Have a good weekend all x

I'm on shower-scrubbing duty tomorrow - though sadly, it's my own and I won't get paid for it 🤦‍♀️!

Oh no SC! I hope you gave yourself a little reward after it was done though, a chocolate bar or something 🙂

I did better than that. I took some survey money I had set aside just in case I need it before payday and put it into savings 😀😀😀
