Thanks everyone ❤️ The atmosphere in the office has certainly improved! Unfortunately, it has meant my workload has increased as someone has to clean up the mess she left behind and the only person who knows how to do it, is me 🙄 Oh well, at least my days are going much faster.
Had a nice present from my boss though in that his wife works at boots and gets a decent discount, so she got me some bio-oil for my burn scars. When I asked how much I owe for it, he said not to worry and that he hope it helps 🙂
Also, DH is off the rest of this week, so his boss came up to me and said she was sorry and had messed up in not passing DH his birthday present! Brought it home to DH and it was £40 worth of vouchers to his favourite pub/restaurant that I had taken him to on Friday, so that'll be a nice treat again (well, that's if DH wants to go with me 🤣)

Don't worry greent, I won't be stressing myself out. I have managed to have a good go at sorting stuff out in the past week and it has become apparent to me and boss that there was a lot she wasn't doing that she had been told to do (can't help but feel a little smug about it 🤫)
The weekend was very quiet, with two cleaning jobs, but then mainly chilling and reading my book. My work bestie did bring us a caramel apple crumble on Sunday, as she been round the village collecting cooking apples and had too many, so made an extra one for us. It was very yummy with some custard and I've told her to go collect more apples so she can make another one 🤣
Last night was another cleaning job, so DH cooked tea for us while I showered and then rested.
Payday is on Friday, so we will get our payslips tomorrow and then i can make another overpayment towards the mortgage! We've got to pay the balance for our Christmas holiday but I should still be able to pay around £800 off.

Payday has come and I've paid £890 off the mortgage and the new balance is £26,500 🙂 With two more paydays to go before the end of the year, I'm definitely on track to get under £25k by 2025.
We've also paid the balance of our Christmas holiday to Suffolk, so that's something to look forward to. We're just waiting for the key codes etc now from the owner. Our works Christmas party is the night before we go on holiday, so I need to make sure I don't get carried away and drink too much! A 2 hour trip with a hangover would not be the best idea 🤣
November is going to be a bit of an expensive month. After paying the holiday, we have 2 of the dogs due for their boosters, so that probably be near £100 and I have my hair cut mid month which is now £35. I also need to look at getting a few Christmas presents, as I don't want to leave it until the last minute. I think I'll put a list together this weekend for them.
We're hoping to have a trip to the seaside tomorrow seeing as we didn't get to go for our anniversary, and i dont have any cleaning jobs. Of course you need to have chips and hot doughnuts while you're there! I'm pretty sure that's the law 🤣
Have a good one all! x

We had a lovely weekend with a trip to the seaside. We had panini and chips and then some hot doughnuts on the pier. The dogs got a little bit too, so they definitely enjoyed the visit as well!
Sunday, I went and cleaned for my grandad. He hasn't been very well as he's had a bit of a bug and at 89 it had wiped him out, bless him.
Yesterday was back to work and then a cleaning job in the evening. Today has been work and then shopping delivery. Managed to get it under £100 for two weeks, so pleased with that. Tomorrow, we have dog 2 and 3 at the vets for their boosters, which will probably be around £100. Our vets are now offering a lifetime subscription type thing, where you pay so much a month and then boosters, wormers and flea treatments are included, so will see if that works out cheaper.Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Thanks NG x
Yeah, work is busier with having to cover the work she was supposed to but didn't, but yeah, so much better. We have a new person starting in December, who will be taking the work off me so that I can go back to my preferred role in the factory. Unfortunately, I have to train them first 🙄
Well, the dogs ending up costing £132 at the vets for their boosters 😱 Me and DH split the cost. I looked into the monthly plan with the vets and did some sums and it would end up costing us more money, so unfortunately not worth it.
My normal DD came off the mortgage on the 1st November and I made a small overpayment to bring the balance to £26,400. Looking forward to getting under £25k for Christmas and then into the teens next year!
DH paid his car off on the 1st, so that is all his now which means he will be saving the monthly DD every month and also the extra he had to put aside to pay it off at the end. He had £8k in savings left over and will just be adding to this for a deposit for our forever home! He says he will also have a little left over for some treats which I'm hoping I will benefit from too 🤣
I had two cleaning jobs yesterday which left me tuckered out, so today we've had a nice chill day. I've given the bathroom a good clean, put a vegetable stew in the slow cooker which will feed us tea tomorrow and Tuesday and then also made some soup which did us for dinner today with enough left over for dinner tomorrow. We had fresh pasta for tea tonight with some garlic bread. We have those pizza garlic bread and lately we've been cutting down our portions, so we've been splitting them in half and just sharing half instead of a full one. The other half goes back in the freezer for the next pasta meal. Think it is doing us some good anyway.
Back to work tomorrow and a cleaning job after. Have a good week all xMortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.
