Payday! Woohoo! I've made an overpayment of £922.29 so the new total is £27,600 🙂
I'll wait until the usual DD has gone out and then make another small payment to round down.
I've bought my first Christmas present today! My mum always wants a calendar every year and so I thought I might as well order it as I know what I'm getting. I'll probably buy her a next voucher to go with it and that is her sorted. I don't have a lot of presents to buy nowadays, I've stopped buying for extended family and me and my brother agreed not to buy for each other anymore as it was just for the sake of it.
We have booked a holiday to Suffolk over Christmas though. It's on the chalet park that we've been to before a few times and really like as it's right next to the beach, the dogs love it too. It was only £450 for the week and it means we can be near DHs family, which will keep MIL happy for a few minutes 🤣
Hoping for a nice chilled out weekend. I haven't slept very well the past couple of nights because although I don't have to wear two of the three dressings at night anymore, they are still sore and I keep catching them and waking myself up. Luckily not enough to do any damage but annoying nonetheless.
Fingers crossed for a better night tonight 🤞Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Thanks SC x
The past couple of nights have been better. I'm starting to get itchy now though! Obviously, I have to be careful not to scratch otherwise the scarring will be worse. Really had enough now, but it is getting better, so just have to be patient.
We've had a nice weekend. Yesterday, I went to see my cleaning customer for a coffee. My parents came too as she is their neighbour and it's her birthday next week (she's in her early nineties), so I bought some little cupcakes as well for us all to have and I think she really enjoyed it.
I also went to see a potential new customer and am pleased to say I start for her next week. She has a son that is an amputee and also needs help but she needs to convince him first. Hopefully it will work out and I will have another person on the books 🙂
I did a cleaning job this morning, which wasn't too painful so definitely getting back to normal. It has been 2 years since we rehomed dog 3, so we have been to the private dog park and they've all had a good run round and then we had a cheeky maccyds on the way home and the dogs had chicken nuggets as a special treat to celebrate.
Working from home again this week and hopefully my final doctors appointment on Wednesday for a dressing change and check up 🙂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Thursday already! I had my dressings changed yesterday and i need to keep a dressing on my leg still for the next couple of weeks, but apart from that I have been discharged! Yay! I have an appointment booked in on the 30th just in case but if I don't need it, I can cancel it. 🙂
I went into the office this morning, but it was quite uncomfortable walking up and down stairs so much and wearing my uniform, so came home at lunch to work from home for the afternoon and put some nice baggy clothes on. I'll do the same tomorrow and probably next week and then I should be back to normal. I then walked the dogs and went off to a cleaning job, so I'm pretty pooped now!
The money from my cleaning tonight will be used at a charity quiz night tomorrow which my parents are taking us to. We've been to a few with them and they're usually good fun. I then have two cleaning jobs Saturday morning and my friend is coming over to stay Saturday night and we're going out for an Indian, so a busy weekend ahead! Can't complain as I haven't been able to do much for the past few weekends.
The mortgage is at an annoying amount of £27,408.95, but with DHs birthday coming up on the 15th, I don't want to really pay off anymore until I know what position I'm in for the rest of month., just need to be patient.

Haha, what a bad influence you lot are 🤣
I did make a small overpayment of £18.95, so the balance is now £27,390.
We went to the quiz with my parents on Friday night, unfortunately we didn't win but it was close with the winners on 207 and us 203. It was a good night anyway.
I then did two cleaning jobs on Saturday morning and I have another new customer that I start on Tuesday afternoon after work. My friend then came over Saturday night and we went out for a Indian at a local restaurant. My cleaning money from the morning paid for my half and it was a good night. My only disappointment was that the restaurant was really busy, the busiest that I've ever seen it and we felt a bit rushed to get through our meal. Although, it didn't really work and they seemed to get the message that we weren't going anywhere fast as we were busy chatting and left us alone 🤣 We then came back to mine made up the sofa bed and she introduced me to Brassic (great show!) It ended up being a late night but a very enjoyable one.
After my friend left this morning, me and DH have just had a chilled day, did some washing and I've just sewed up one of Dog 2s toys, which will hopefully last him a couple more months until Christmas, when he can have a new one!Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

What a day!
I'm back to walking the dogs first thing in the morning, DH has been doing this while my burns have been healing, but i do like doing it as it sets me up for the day. I worked in the office this morning, which was Ok but my leg did feel a bit sore after a while. Another dog walk at dinnertime and then worked from home this afternoon. A third dog walk was then followed with me back at my usual Monday cleaning job. I'm finally home, had a shower and in my jammies. DH cooked pasta for tea and washed up which was nice. I do have some washing to put a way and one of my plants has sprouted a baby which I need to pluck out and put in another pot, so it has room to grow.
Then I'll settle down with my book and have an early night, before I do the same again tomorrow! Groundhog Day, anyone? 🤣

Thank you NG ❤️
Today was the same as yesterday really, morning dog walk, work in the office and a dinnertime dog walk. Work from home in the afternoon, although I didn't have a huge amount to do, so I took my laptop in the kitchen, so I could keep an eye on my emails and chopped all the veg for a stew and put it in the slow cooker, for tomorrow and Thursday tea. Afternoon dog walk, followed by a cleaning job, which went well and I'll be going back to next week. Got home and had a shower while DH cooked a vegetable curry for tea.
I've put my slow cooker stew into tupperware and now I'm in bed catching up with diaries before reading my book and sleep. I've got tomorrow off from cleaning, so I'll get some washing done and get the budgies cleaned out after work.
