Ooh, that's exciting Jessy! You made me work out where we're up to with ours - 23.9 % 😊 Which is pleasingly close to a quarter - £4111 left, in fact. Although without overpayment, my spreadsheet reckons that will take til next June! 🙄

That's a nice target to aim for though cheery, and even better if you hit it before June 🙂

    Thank you @newgirly and @debtfreeoneday ❤

We got the official wedding photos this weekend, all 453 of them! There are some really beautiful ones. I've bought some proper photo paper and new ink cartridges for my printer, so I can have a go at printing them myself, although I think I will pick a favourite one of me and OH to have printed onto a canvas.

Payday was on Friday and as we are on the 1st today I logged on to have a look at the mortgage. The interest has been added on for September and then the usual amount taken off, so I've made an overpayment of £309.10 to bring it down to £39,500. I'll now wait until towards the end of October and hopefully pay another £200 off to reach my £500 monthly overpayment target.

It is OH's birthday this month and I would like to start getting some Christmas presents, so I do need to watch what I spend. OH would like a smoothie maker for his birthday, so if anyone has any recommendations, it would be greatly appreciated!

Two of the three dogs are due their annual vaccinations this month and a general health check, so that won't be cheap. I admire what vets do and I know it's not an easy job, but I do think they add some extra on knowing that you aren't going to say no to looking after your beloved pets and that often you don't have a choice, because as far as I'm aware there is no price comparison website for vet practices!

Great idea, but I find Deborah Meaden utterly terrifying 😂

Well, it seems I angered the veterinary gods with my post about how much they cost, as Sunday night and into Monday morning, oldest dog had sickness and diarrhoea and had us up all night, the poor thing. As she's 9 y/o now it did worry us, so we ended up booking her an appointment at the vets. She's ok, they think she just ate something she shouldn't have, which wouldn't surprise me because she's an absolute piglet! Some medicine, special tinned food and £83 later, she's on the mend and getting back to her mischievous self. It's also cost me a couple of days holiday from work as I didn't want to leave her and I was shattered from the constant trips to take her outside! Back to work in the office tomorrow and Thursday though and then working from home Friday, so shouldn't be a bad rest of the week.

I've bought OH a 2 in 1 smoothie and soup maker which should arrive tomorrow, so just need to get him a card now and book a table at the local pub/restaurant that we really like but don't go to often because it's not cheap, then that's all sorted.

It's a bit chilly tonight, so I've had my first hot chocolate of the autumn. OH put a little bit of cinnamon in it as well, as we had some in the cupboard and it was lovely. Also lit a smelly candle, so feeling very cosy.
