    Done it yet?!

By email, as per KeithP's detailed advice?

    :)

See you at Witness Statement stage, weeks before the hearing at your local court.

The earlier stage of DQ N180 form needs no advice as it's already covered fully by bargepole in his Court Procedures thread, linked in the NEWBIES under 'IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN'.

Yes all done thanks to all your help Coupon-mad :) Just hope it got there in time which i think it might not of.

Just one other question...if i was to late in sending it and then said to the company ok I'll pay it. What amount would i be paying if it doesn't go to court? All of the £241.44 or the second demand without court and legal costs £160.00?

If you are deemed 'too late', and that really depends on how on the ball the Claimant is, then a Default Judgment will have been recorded against you and you will be ordered by the Court to pay the Claimant the claimed amount - whatever is on the Claim Form.

Why would the Claimant accept anything less?

You should phone the CCBC in the morning (they might take an hour to answer) and ask them to update MCOL as you emailed your defence. Make sure you beat the Claimant!

Hope you put the claim no. and the words URGENT DEFENCE in the subject line?

Hi again, Just a couple questions.

I emailed my defence to MCOL on the 5th like i was told to and then followed up next morning with a phone call like Coupon-mad said too.
Well my defence has now appeared on my MCOL website saying Your defence was received on 11th
although i sent it on the 5th

My question is what is now going to happen...
Did my defence get there on time or not?
Will i be told by the court that it got there on time or if it didn't?

Or will something be posted on the MCOL website to tell me whats next?

    Regards
    Joe
