Hiya peepys, blinking cold here to this morning!! didn't want to get up but had a lovely hot shower that has set me up for the day!:D

Payday today!! WOOOO:j :T :j Not a bad one at all I may add and will mean a slight overpayment off the totals! not as much as I had hoped to overpay but the mobile bill was a whopping amount again this month  despite best efforts to keep it lower and I am expecting a rubbish payday in January as no mileage and not much commission due to end of year get as much out as you possibly can type syndrome! so need to keep some back and aiming to keep back £400 so I can use this in Jan if things are short. Is really nice to know that I can actually do that though and not panic as I would've been this time last year. :D

No I did NOT cavein and give some money as I had no money to give!:rotfl: always a good way of controlling the pockets to not have anything in them to start with!!:D should've finished up with about £200 this month but...:o however he was home again at half 8, straight after the meal! and probably isn't going out tonight now either. I do feel sorry for him but must stick to my guns.
I'm feeling really bad today actually about one of the comments made yesterday about the fact i never say anything nice about my OH. people, I do love him, for all his ways and irritations he is my sweetheart and if I left him i'd have no one to give my jalapenos to :o . So no matter how much I rant or rave it is purely as I have no one near by to rant and rave to (other than the lovely hypno) and alot of my frustrations in every area of life come out here instead. In fact when I am typing i frequently forget that others can read this and use it as a diary in the true sense of the word. Just noticed that I came over all Jane Austin there!! "reader, I loved him!!":D sorry, reading wuthering heights right now (for the umpteenth time!) it must be having an effect!

Duchy I'll PM you my mobi number. Give me a call when you can.

And it's nice to know that people like reading my diary, thanks for that snaggles, gives me a shove to carry on with this debt busting lark!!:D

Right must dash, places to go, people to see an all that jazz!! see you all tonight!:T

Yeah, your diary always is one of my first stops when I come online! And I wish my payday was today, I was apparently misinformed. :(

Hi P, I am going to give you a virtual slap now.

Do not feel sorry for OH having no money to go out this week. He has overspent, you have already bailed him out considerably, leaving yourself short of cash in the process, he has overspent again, and he could have made efforts to avoid the situation, but didn't!

So, what is there to feel sorry about  Self preservation, Missy, that is what you need. He is big enough and ugly enough to sort himself out for a few drinks with the lads at Christmas, surely........and if he misses out because of a lack of cash, well, so be it - that is the sort of thing that brings on LBMs, so let it happen. Tough love.

Have a good day though, slapping over :rotfl:

  • Hypno is right under no circumstances should you give in to him! I used to get told I was mean and I had all the control cos I had the money (yeah i had money cos I went to work and earned it and didn't just drink it as soon as it was there!).
Look after yourself first and make sure your finances are in order.
Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!

Aww, bless, we know you love him - I remember how proud you were when he got his new job :D Think it's gotta be tough love when it comes down to money though, it's for his own good! ;) And if there's one place you can rant and rave (and don't we all need it at times!) it's definitely here!!

Well done on the overpayments - great stuff :T

    hi Pania,
had a lovely dinner at lunch time for the department christmas dinner and best of all it was paid for by the managers, very unexpected as well.
Was going to ask why is it so bloomin cold but i guess that's what i should expect for winter with storage heaters, thank god for the calor gas and the blanket.
Hope you enjoy your evening with your OH you need time together.
  • Hang tough P! He'll get there but you need to let him get there IYKWIM! Hard though it is! Think of me - would kill for a shower & heating as my boiler has packed up!! Thank goodness for my fan!! Think this is a lean month for us all but at least we start the new year not having o have the awful gut wrenching LBM!

    Hang tough P!

he he he! Just had a vision of me in gladiators costume, hanging with bulging muscles from the loops on the set of gladiator!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi guys!!! Back from a lovely day out, mainly doing battle with the traffic at the dartford tunnel and through a fatal accident!! lurbely! Had a lovely chat with duchy on the phone to, think I've finally met someone who can talk as much as me:T :j :D and did a wee bit of chrimbo shopping at lakeside to finish off. Was really naughty though and treated myself to some boots, But god knows I needed them and they were only 19.99 and look about £60!!:j
Last pair i bought from that shop lasted me years so should be value for money. as a good friend said when i met him in colchester last week, "what the hell is going on with your shoes! i realised it was time for a new pair:eek:

Hypno thanks for the slap on the wrist, was much needed! it Is hard to change your approach to a situation but i realise that enough is enough and I CANNOT allow it to overtake me this month as January's pay is going to be seriously shocking otherwise. I don't mean to speak so ill of my OH at all and try to leave him out of posts where necerssary. we have just had a debate over the splitting of present money and whether the 2 pressies i picked up for his nan and uncle should be borne by me, him or half and half. I think we've come to a compromise but i feel more and more like a cashmachine and this cash point is outta money! I hope that you have had a lovely day and the TV people weren't to intrusive.

OK so I am feeling good, I am feeling positive (still:T ) and have ebaying and quidcoing on my mind right now!! have even done the piggy comps two days in a row now and have £2.50 available. :j however can do better.... off to pigsback!! back in a jiffy!! (coloquial saying, very stupid, no jiffy has ever been invented large enough to fit a human!:rotfl: )
