So today so far i have...

    Hoovered throughout
    cleaned the bathroom
    done 2 loads of washing
    fed DP
    Cleaned the kitchen
    Cooked dinner/lunch/tea
    Made crumble for desert

Take a big bowl up to the bathroom and prepare his course.

Tell him it'll cool down, if he finds it too hot.

well ...i have 13 mtrs of dividing edging stuff to buy..i have edging stuff to buy for the beds and i have to get some compost and trays to grow stuff in and some seeds...i have so much to get ...i still need to do the foundations ...bob am i meant to do them a few days before i attempt this wall? ...oh and i did get the tree stumps out well hubby did he had a mini digger all weekend and ripped the garden apart very little grass left now lol
It needs time to set, so usually the day before-but if unsure leave it a couple of days, will also depend on weather..the drier the better...but conversley you do not want it to dry too quickly.lol, all very confusing. When i did mine it was in sections and quite sheltered so dried ok and no probs since.

Ello fellow members of the big butt brigade but i don't believe it of any of you! beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that doesn't include yourself!!!

BOB why on earth would your kitchen be too posh? it looks lovely, you should be proud. and if by any miracle of a chance which i somewhat doubt the rest of your house doesn't look like that then it gives you something to aspire to over time as and when you can do it.

Well the roast was corkin. got it right thank god and a takeaway wasn't needed!!! had apple crumble and custard for dessert, god i sooo need a gym sesh to burn that lot off. I've just been up and put DP's rug back on and what a lovely evening it was, i wonder if this is the start of some decent weather for us? I do hope so!!!

Is El back from the garden centre trip now or do you think she is lost in a willy wonka wonderland of gladioli, fuchias and fruit trees?

Hope everyone is having a good evening, i'm watching indiana jones and the last crusade....pure cheese but pure gold to!

  • Thank you, the other rooms are (so everyone tells me) lovely and cozy. I am working on bedrooms at moment as we had a swap around and want to update. I have been having a mooch on the shabby chic thread and i love all the ideas on there.
Great to hear your meal went well.. VERY PROUD of you. It has been a lovely day up here. We went walking in a local beauty spot called Rivington Pike. Bit muddy, but worth it for the views.
I watched Indiana Jones yesterday-i love that film.
    catch you later, BOB xx
