OK, so forget the joviality, down to business now. My SOA for this month,

Going to try to cut back on a few bits to accomodate certain mobile expenses... So here goes...

    Income £2311.18

    Rent 525
    Food 50
    Mobs 242
    Pet insurance 10.81
Pet costs 44.00 (Incl. new rug)
    Barclays 10
Petrol 200 (am going to see if i can get it to this this month)
    Car Ins 29.81

    Debt repayments £699

    TOTAL £1810.62
    Surplus £500.56

    other stuff

Present for girl at work who has left £10
    Christmas Dinner £37
    Christmas presents £250
travelodge this weekend as can't stay at the folks £50

    Total £347
    Surplus £153

    oh sh**

OK so maybe if i knock the works christmas meal on the head, it is in northants after all that'll free up £37
Think mum is going to give half towards the travelodge
And maybe if i trade in my old mobile phone for £100 (not sure if that will come off this months bill or not, then I may be able to update with a little more money.
I also have £15 refund from B+Q that I can get back and some stuff to pop on ebay which may raise about £30 So I SHOULD be just about ok provided OH doesn't need any money at all.

It's gonna be a tight one folks!!!!;)

Hope you booked Travelodge via Quidco-every little helps !
I went to the one place MSEers shouldn't go-Las Vegas ! Actually so long as you don't gamble it's a cheap place to go (er only I did have a flutter but a budgeted one so that's OK) main point was to get together with friends and go see Donny Osmond poledance !!! Had a fab trip but nose back to the grindstone now.
Maybe you could ask for donations towards the entry fee as Christmas pressies ? Well done on getting in-I wasn't joking about coming to cheer you on-I'll be there !!

    Hi Pania

just found your new diary. Good luck with the marathon and your task of getting you debt down by 15K (very similar to my aim for next year). Sorry haven't been about much, off to catch up on all the posts in your new diary.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

So the hard work begins in earnest - pounding the streets in the freezing cold, dark wet evenings :rotfl:

I am allowed to laugh - I have done my marathon running time. Now I can stay warm and dry........:D

As for "if OH doesn't need any money at all" - well if he does, he will have to get it sorted for himself won't he

Congratulations Pania on getting in !!! :j :j I did it this year and it is a fantastic day :D:D Start the fundraising straight away though as that can be as hard as the actual 26 miles, qlthough with Hypno round the corner I'm sure it will be a breeze ;):D

I bought a treadmill off ebay (£120) and sold it on there when I'd finished with it for £125 ;) so it was a worthwhile investment :D I used to put a dvd on my laptop and watch that while I was on there as it is soooo boring otherwise

I must admit I was one of those people that walked the majority of it but hey, I still got round and got a medal so I'm happy :D

Check out the forums on the FLM website, its great for info and motivation. Good luck!!!!!!

  • Good morning,

I gave in last night and put up the xmas decorations, then when we were halfway through, ds had the cheek to say he was tired and going to bed  he bugged me all day and even while I was having my dinner, little monster, but I must say that the living room looks really warm and cosy with all the red and green and twinkly lights, bless.

Well I hope you have a nice day visiting family and friends, my plans for the day are housework and surfing t'interweb, hubby is off this weekend although he's still in bed, it's raining outside and we have no money so a no-spend-weekend for us.
