Not in the slightest! I wish I got paid/saw what I got paid early :(

    Hi Pania!

Sounds like a good day! Glad your Dad's operation went okay.

Have you run a marathon before? I really admire people who can do that. I can't run at all, it makes my shins hurt.....plus I look like Phoebe in that episode of Friends where they are embarrassed at her running 'style' lol!!

  • ohh how exciting! Maybe we could have the meet in London for the marathon instead of in Mch so we can do a DFW's support pania get through the marathon meet? I did debate applying for next year but dont want to get ahead of myself! Need to run properly first & remember my tendency to give up new hobbies! If you go to fetch & runners world there are lots of threads & training tips cos I think the ballot was last week wasnt it?! Very excited for you!! Are you definately in? Hope the bank balance was as good, if not better, than expected!

Good morning! It's Friday, it's payday, and for some reason I was up and (almost) raring to go at 6am this morning!:D  That's fantastic work money-wise this month P - I think having money left by next payday is such a good feeling, it really makes you feel like you're on top of things.

I've still got no internet at home but I should be sorting that out next week, have managed to find a really good phone/ internet deal which will save me a fortune - between that and cutting out a couple of other things I've managed to 'make' the extra money for when my rent goes up in March :j

Fingers & toes are crossed for you for the marathon - let us know how you get on!! xx

Morning Snaggles!!! that made me laugh!!! but do you remember how liberating rachel found it when she ran that wasy to!! so people may laugh but it has it's advantages LOL!!!! :rotfl:
Dad is back home, they discharged him the day after a 7 hour op!!! we are all of the opinion that it was too soon but mum is doing a great job of nursing him. He's sore and grumpy the poor guy, :o poor mum too!!:rotfl:

Well the verdict on the salary is in, and it was quite a bit less than I was hoping for, But should still be do-able with a bit of effort, (and ebay perhaps to make up the shortfall)

It's the bloomin mobile bill ONCE AGAIN that is going to take the majority this month and this aspect is really starting to P ME OFF!!!!!!!!

£182+£80 = £242 JUST ON MOBILE PHONE BILLS come on work give it a rest!!!!Majority of this is from phone calls i had to make to a guy in spain so i am hoping that decembers bill will be much much lower, However I also have a phone that I can hand in for a £100 credit to the bill so I am hoping that may count and I can use that to reduce it. Will pop into the orange shop whilst out at work today. May be able to get something positive out of it after all!!;)

Well I have exacetly 36 mins to wait until I find out if i'm in LM2008!!!:j :j sooooooo excited!!! I have run it before snaggles, in 2006, well, I say ran, I made it to 15 miles then it was a combination of walking, running and staggering the rest!! with a paula radcliffe style sprint for the last 600 yards as I just wanted to finish!! But WOW what an experience. :D

SO watch this space folks!!! xxx

Squirrel thats great news on the cut backs! Well done you!! that'll make it so much easier and mean that you can relax and enjoy the new place rather than worry where the money is going to come from for it. Thats fab!
Hope that work is going well too?.....
Re the money being left at the end of the month yes I was pretty chuffed, however it was the grand total of £50 so can stil work to improve that one!!! LOL.
    Have a great day!!! xx

Hey ISOM!! how are you? thanks for posting!!! Love the idea of a marathon meet! except I won't be there cos i'll be running it he he. The ballot closed on the 18th of October for this year and the results come out in december, however this is a golden bond place where you have to raise a certain amount of money for your place. Think it should be do-able.

I chose the spinal injuries assoc as one of the charities to apply for as I witnessed an accident a while ago now and the young girl was left paraplegic as a result of her injuries. It was a pivotal event in life and one that still lives with me, I thought if i could do something worthwhile to help then that'd be grand!! and hopefully i will be able to!! wooooooo!!!

I think you'll be fine for 2009, having read your diary your doing fab with the fitness etc, it certainly shifts your bum into gear i can tell you that!!

Right need to get up now and do stuff!!! Chat later and big hugs xx
