Terry wogan has clearly never seen me naked and has no idea that my kitchen window can be overlooked by about 40 houses (if they used binoculars, but thats not the point!). If he was aware f either am sure he wouldnt have said it. Uness he was thinking abot 70 year old African women in the jungle at the time perhaps?!!

Rang up and proudly overpaid debt 3 today to the tune of £21.30:D
explained to the lady what i was doing, asked if i wanted to settle, said no, checked i wouldn't be chased for extra money due to me making overpayment... oh no she says...
2 hours later.... "hello is that miss P , P cottage, gotnomoneyland?"
"yup"
"is your date of cbirth blah/blah/blah?"
"yup"
"can you confirm your address for security please?"
""well i think you've just done that by telling me my date
of birth without knowing it is me your talking to"
" This is XXX of robinson we'recompletenumptys Way DCA,
You rang up and made a card payment today of X instead
of your monthly payment of £40. (still without me
completing security) why haven't you paid the full
amount of your monthly payment, you know we can take
you to court if you don't"
very politely (well kinda, ok, not) asked what the hell he was going on about and whether he'd like to start the call again as i was intrigued how many times he could break the data protection act next time round...:rotfl:
Was then informed that if i could afford £21 then he would put my monthly payment up by that amount each month as i could quite clearly afford more!
To my detriment i then asked him, rather unkindly, if he was new to the company and had completed his training as it were
to be asked " Why aren't you settling the account if you so clearly have spare money floating around!"
That'll be the last time i overpay that debt then!!! any ideas what i can do with the money until i can repay it, me and svings accounts just don't get on!!!
 and :rotfl: in equal measure!!!! gave me a giggle to, thought about reporting the poor lamb for breach of DPA but thought i'd be kind as it was quite clearly his first day, doncha just love em...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

Are you still joining me on the 'extra income' challenge for March, Miss P?
And yep, DCAs are full of, er, nonsense (to be polite), one of the reasons I only stick to minimum payments with them is that if they think you can pay more they will push for it. What about a savings account that you have to give so many days notice to withdraw?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
heavens they are so thick aren't they, and such a jobs worth.
Maybe if you and savings accounts don't work you should save with the bank of mum and dad like you did with your spare money over christmas so you could have it this month, i'm sure your mum would be happy to help0 -
