How is it Wednesday? I've done nothing this week!! Best get a lick on....A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks0 -
Had a whizz round and did the most urgent bits. DS back to uni today, he doesn't make an actual mess, just messes with my routines!
So, off piste (off liste?) I've done kitchen s&s and floor. Bathroom s&s plus windowsill, boxing in - which seems to attract dust. Hall floor and mirror. And I got carried away in the airing cupboard... I'm not carrying much extra clutter but it did need a big clean inside...cobwebs = spiders! I'll need a helper for the upper shelf though. My charity shop gathering bag lives in there and needs depositing, when it stops raining! I've also straightened up the computer cupboard ("study" hahaha) and given it a wipe round. It needs a bit more filing soon. But not now.A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

Afternoon all.
I didn't post yesterday as I decided to walk to and from my hospital appointment (which takes about an hour each way) after not getting out much for most of April. I feel to much better for it! I hit a few shops on the way home that I rarely get to so I had no energy by the time I got in about 6pm :rotfl:Back again in 2 weeks so I'm glad I didn't get my work done on time as I've now got to juggle dates to fit around my appointment.
So far today I've played catch up with laundry (3 loads done) but I've had to stop for now as I can only hang so much bedding to dry inside! I've also chopped and in the process of cooking down a HUGE pan of random veg to turn into bases of sauces for bolognese, shepherds pie, stew etc. I'm a bit out of practice so it took me an hour but the house smells delicious  I also caught up with dishes, tidied up right through, snuggled with the dog who is clingy as anything after I was out for so long yesterday, dealt with a customer who knocked unexpectedly and dealt with my personal email.
I'm just going to update my bujo (I didn't do it last night), then sort out the new dates for work so I can get them on to my phone and paper calenders so I won't end up clashing work and medical appointments again.

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Full day of paid stuff done, done some admin for DH business, about to take DD to Rainbows then need to get ready for tomorrow as I'm on a course so need to be dropping kiddies off with my friend at 7am.
Got a bit upset earlier, a school mum asked if I was getting DS assessed for ADHD. Yes he's a loud, energetic, attention seeking little boy but he's only 5, surely his behaviour is not uncommon at that age? Her comment was out of the blue and floored me to be honest. School have never mentioned anything other than he can misbehave at times. Any thoughts from anyone welcome. X0 -
ASB - words fail me...apart from some VERY rude ones.

Evening all!
Well, not much achieved on paper, but seem to have spent most of the day rushing around, waving off dogs, welcoming new ones, having a meet and greet, sorting out goats, puppies, chickens, children and the cat.
Forgot to collect the eggs and DH shouted at me, so I'm sulking next to him on the sofa watching his football team lose
Need to iron 1001 things, get dog food out of the freezer for the morning and tidy the kitchen, but I'm sooooo tired. Ah well, no rest for the wicked.0 -
As anticipated, minimal flying today after paid stuff. Dinner cooked, WULTD, kitchen floor swept. One load through the wm, 2nd load taking its place in the queue for the morning.
Last night I resurrected my knitting - I’m soooo slow and out of practice, it’s an embarrassment. I’m going to spend the rest of this evening trying to get my knitting mojo back.
ASB - sorry I’m of no help. But nobody knows your DS like you do. Ignore her. X0 -
HELP!
I'm on a residential Monday 10th June - can anyone step up and run the thread please as it's 'my' week?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
