Ground floor dysoned
Ice cubes put on dints in carpet from sofa legs in previous position. It has worked a little but will need several goes I think.

dancepop’s review meeting at the care home was postponed this morning so I took my sister to see him anyway. I think he thought my sister was my aunt from the questions he asked. I think he is worse than I thought. He sat at the dining table for 3 hours last night as he thought it was dinner time and he had already had dinner which he thought was lunch.My sister said my Mum wanted him to have a chance to try going home 1 more time, mum denied this today.

Took sister for lunch at a small local garden centre. Tired now

Most of what I wanted to do done...

DS complained I washed his shorts which were on the kitchen floor by the WM... he's lucky they didn't go in the bin. Adult children... never let them back in the door!

I was pootling in the kitchen getting a coffee this morning when the phone rang ... and a full, unexpected, day at the paid stuff beckoned.
Apparently they had been ringing the mobile which was out of earshot. So a dash into the shower and just made it before the bell.

Phew! I've just caught up with all the news and I now need a lie down!

I'm in tomorrow, but things might be a bit haphazard for me as life is utter chaos and mayhem ATM.

G&T drunk...bubble bath next. Might even polish my toe nails...after I've shaved my toes...:eek:

Well, I didn't do too badly today, all things considered:

[STRIKE]- check current accounts (switching later this week)
- ring re ISA transfer[/STRIKE] [this took 3 long phonecalls but all is sorted - I'm just awaiting the letter of confirmation]
[STRIKE]- email/text reminder about Toddler Group this week
- send DH to SW, even though I think he's wasting his money
- see other neighbour about the tradesman
- ring the tradesman[/STRIKE]
- ring another friend who I haven't seen for ages
- finish cleaning the [STRIKE]bathroom and[/STRIKE] downstairs loo
- dust the study and our BR
[STRIKE]- do various errands in town
- post card to SiL[/STRIKE]
- turn up 2 pairs of trousers
- plant some sunflower seeds in pots
- behead more dandelions!
[STRIKE]- start various jobs for church, including planning for Toddlers on Thursday
- take Rosie for her usual walk
- catch up on some zzz
- go to evening meeting[/STRIKE] [those of us who found out about the date change did receive an apology as well as many thanks for being there despite the ultra-short notice, and the speaker was actually pretty good

Some of what is left may get done tomorrow, but I have other things to do in the morning as well. Otherwise it may be carried over into next week.

Good news: the lettuce seeds and French beans that I planted on Sunday are already beginning to come up

Dancemum hugs, it's a very upsetting process. We're still on a bit of respite as MILs care home is still closed for visiting although she hasn't caught the lurgy going round yet.

Been to zumba.
Emptied dw and put away.
Finished a report. It's the time of year when every other one is ADHD, as they've spent the previous months procrastinating or winging it! 2 left to write up this week.
Did a load of gardening. So much in the greenhouse being potting on, planting out etc.
Went to visit friend in hospital.
Went to Ald1.
About to go up and do a bit more reporting or my on-line course which I'm badly behind with.

Morning all, today is this week's mad job list day. (I wish I could just upload a picture of my written list before & after)
I'm hoping to be mega mega efficient and get all the 'at home' jobs done by lunchtime (ambitious) and then head out to the shopping centre post lunch for a clothes shopping trip for me.
Not decided yet if I'm going to be money saving and eat lunch at home or if I'm going to treat myself. Will see how I feel later.

Today I have paid stuff and I'm doing a presentation. Was just trying to go through it but I think I'm at the stage where I'll just have to wing it and hope for the best.


I'll see what flying I can fit in during the short break I have today.

Good morning

Hugs to dancemum and to Narc0.
Flying is being interrupted by paid stuff today. It’s dull, cold and raining outside atm so I’m sure that flying motivation would plummet if I were at home. However I have already emptied one water butt and it’s only May so I’m not really complaining at rain.

Yesterday evening I did manage the HH filing and some other paperwork bits, so pleased with that.
I will strip our bed in a minute. The wm is already loaded for when DH gets home from work, so the bedding will join the queue. I’ve just hard boiled a couple of eggs for a kedgeree concoction for dinner tonight. This may be the sum total of flying today.

Hi all

Good to hear from you asb, and glad to hear things are good.

Lots going on, nice to see the thread so busy. Off to the paid stuff soon, need to get a good day in. Leaving a list for DH who is at home today.

Off on Friday to see DS1 graduate from college. He then wants to come home while he gets himself sorted financially and sees if he can afford to house share. We have a great relationship with DS1 but I am a tiny bit apprehensive, he will have to help out around the house and look after himself!

Two loads of washing on airer in LR with dehumidifier going, another load in, bathroom swished. Off to paid stuff x
