That is completely unreadable. Talk about hiding a contractual term, literally buried in small print, are they having a laugh!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is evidence that the point was ambiguous when the o/p parked
It is not evidence of how the sign without that clause should now be interpreted. It will not preclude the PPC arguing contractual term applied at the point of entry.0 -
I wonder who at BWLegal actually thinks that they can win with such a rubbish sign ..... ?????
They must be in for a spanking in court if they don't discontinue0 -

That's right.didgeridoooo wrote: »My understanding of that letter from the court (post 228 above) is that if they do not do something by the 28 day deadline, the claim could be "stayed" which I assume means binned? If anyone could confirm I would be grateful.
But as you don't know when the CCBC sent your Defence to the Claimant, and as you don't know when they received the Claimant's response, it's difficult to say when you will hear from the CCBC.
Also keep in mind that there may also be delays in the CCBC contacting you.

I certainly do know they have no scruples. But does this give me any defence points?Combatting the pandemic of BWLegal-19, one 'notice of discontinuance' at a time. :-)0

No. It's an aggressive practice but it won't really aid your defence.0 -

It might be of use if you want/need to show unreasonable behaviour if you are going to submit an expensive cost schedule.didgeridoooo wrote: »I certainly do know they have no scruples. But does this give me any defence points?0 -
