Afternoon everyone, well May has arrived and my account is overdrawn due to some unexpected charges. Its only £1.91 overdrawn but been told by my bank I will be charged an extra £10. I donated $5 dollars last week to someone online and got messed in charges. Gutted. I will try to PayPal it next time. I am trying to get it back into a positive balance by doing surveys buts it just not happening sigh.
Payment day tomorrow anyway.
Today has so far been an NSD. Did my blog post and some reading. Got hospital soon and then its leftovers to finish when I get back.
Today I am grateful for the internet

Hello everyone,
Shrewbie - I have a moon cup and love it! Will never go back to pads (never got on with tampons)
Make a budget and stick to it Done my dad gives me a set amount each week.
Enjoy the month Plan on doing this, spending as much time outdoors with DS as possible, spending time with friends and family but not spending money!
Read I need to find some time to do this, I don't read anywhere near as much as I used to. Need to find a good book to get engrossed in thinking of taking a trip to the library and having a mooch.
Reduce, reduce and reduce some more This is something I am quite passionate about anyway. I want to see if there is anywhere locally I can give food waste (cuttings off food) as we don't have a food waste collection and since moving I don't have a compost bin or a need for compost. (No where to grow fruit and veg) I already use a bin for green waste but you can't put food in there for some strange reason!
Increase, increase and increase even more - Plan on spending more time outside with DS.
Move it! Planning on going out for a walk with DS Tues, Thurs and one day of the weekend
Post 3 gratitudes every day
1. My son being happy and giggly this morning when dropping him off to nursery.
2. For nice sunny weather, even if it is rather warm at work.
3. My family
No! Bought lunch with me to work but forgot my drink so already had to buy a drink.
Think of others - have offered a friend help with moving this weekend.

NSD No 1
Have just totted up how much we spent on holiday. Holiday fund is now seriously depleted. Have to have a really frugal summer. But it was worth it.
So today. Haven't spent any money. Lunch and dinner from the freezer (made an inventory of the small one and will do the other one tomorrow). Changed the bedding and done all the washing. Not a great day for hanging outside so all drying upstairs but I refuse to put the heating on. Have to confess the TV has been on whilst I've been pottering about.
Didn't really do much walking because I've been doing household chores and haven't had any extra fruit or veg. Must try harder.
Football is on tonight so I'm going to do my nails and hair and then go to bed with a book.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Make a budget and stick to it All done in YNAB. Tight this month due to overspending on last month's holiday. This month it's DS birthday, NT membership is due and we need to put some money away for home insurance due next month.
Enjoy the month May will be the quietest month we have had all year! DH birthday party and a family visit are all that is in the diary.
Read I love to read and having joined the village volunteer library have read a lot recently and will ensure I keep this up. I will also be re-reading many of my recipe books as we are changing our way of eating as a family.
Reduce, reduce and reduce some more
Processed Food and Booze - We are cutting out processed food, alcohol drunk at home
Weight - I am aiming to have lost 10lb by the end of the month (lost over 3 last week
Food Waste and Plastic - I also want to reduce food waste and plastic usage.
Increase, increase and increase even more
Water - drink too much tea and not enough water, aiming for 1.5L/day
Family Time Spent Outside - weekend's mainly
Clean Eating Meal Planning - we are both doing a 6 week plan from DH gym but once this has completed I want to have a new 6 week plan (2 week plan, repeated 3 times) ready to go
Move it!
Walking - I am taking part in a 26 mile walk in 6 weeks time and need to train for this! I want to have completed at least 1 18 mile walk by the end of the month
Running - I have a place in the GNR and training will begin early June. By the end of the month I will do the local Park Run without stopping and in under 40 minutes
Dog Walk - I will be taking the pooch out myself every day I am at home
Yoga/stretch - will investigate if the new yoga studio in the village do a class I can fit in or will use the 30 days of yoga on u-toob
Post 3 gratitudes every day
1. My client's recognition of my skills and abilities
2. That I don't live 200 years ago when the cold I have (12 days and counting) might have done me in
3. For managing my first run in ages
4. The amount of free resources/recipes on clean eating on the web
No! Working from home today so no temptation :A

Was a spend day. Did a reasonable food shop, brought toiletries, an eyeore soft toy and a deposit for a new bed(pay the rest when delivered and they are taking away my old bed as well as my Mum's old bed had to pay extra for them to be taken away). The new bed will hopefully be delivered next week.
Walked to/from one shop. Walked into town centre to another food shop, bed shop and post office(paid council tax). Got the bus back with this food shop.
Went into another town centre to pick up an online order. Got £5 off for my loyalty card for household, beauty and clothes from my favourite shop so picked a couple of beauty items that came to £5. So free items.
Will be reading before I go to bed.
Recycled a few things at various recycling points.
Grateful for:
Getting through the day - was hard asking for my Mum's bed to be taken away.
For achieving everything I had on my list.
Murder She Wrote episodes.

Today has been a spend day. It was payday yesterday and my last bear of jeans ripped in the inner thighs. It happens to all of my jeans when I wear them for a long time, I have 'thick' thighs, and the friction of the upper thighs rubbing together inevitably leaves my jeans useless after that point. I've tried fixing them, but it just made it worse! So, off to Primark at lunch and I bought 3 pairs of jeans. I've decided I'll just have to get cheap jeans for the foreseeable, as I've had expensive jeans thinking it'll make a difference and it doesn't! So, just under £50 on 3 pairs of jeans and 2 pairs of leggings. That should last me a while.
Also popped to Sainsbobs on way home and picked up some eggs, lettuce and cucumber as I'm out! All them salads I'm eating!
Enjoy the month I'm having some me time tonight to catch up on my favourite TV shows.
Read Kindle still needs charging! Oops. I'm halfway through a book at the moment, don't want it to finish!
Reduce stir fry for dinner, and I have used up A lot of mushrooms which we're taking over the fridge.
Increase I have increased my walking today by not getting the Tram, even though it was raining!
Move it I'm currently on 8,000 steps. Want to hit 10,000 so might just have to walk on the spot!
Today I am grateful for:
Food in the house
The rain, watering my garden
Having the willpower to keep to my healthy eating plan today.February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
