    Morning all!
Well I went to sleep at 7:30 last night! Had just under 14 hours as I was absolutely shattered. I'm a bit better now and feeling a little more positive as I am slowly heading for a flare up and hopefully that'll help delay it a little more.

Today I have a huge list of errands to run, so if you see a mad woman driving here, there and everywhere in the Brighton area, it's probably me. I have to pick up some vodka from my friends Mums so I can make vodka jellies for her hen party next week, get my winter foundation (otherwise I'll end up looking like a satsuma-my skin changes colour a lot throughout the year), get a food processor (I have given up on doing a lot of stuff by hand, it's just making my joints worse) and sander pads for our sander (to give OH the hint that if he doesn't come to Mums tomorrow, he knows what to do..), drop some keys off to a friend... and look round the shops for some Christmas presents, try on a swimming costume....

    Phew!

I got my DLA renewal form yesterday and I'm not in the right mind to even start drafting it. This time I will draft it and then go through it with a disability advisor-although I can work full time now my mobility is getting worse as are my joints.

When I get back from my missions, I shall be doing some housework-well, I'm going to try some this morning too! Plus make a vat of mash and sweet potato to portion up, do a roast chicken for rubber chicken and use my new processor to blend up the soup I made the other day.

    Happy birthday to Miss Crazychik!
    Hugs to those who need/want

    Have a good day x

  • Morning all,

It's windy here and was trying to rain earlier. Ds2 has gone on the coach to play a rugby match - they look so sweet all lining up to get on the bus. Dh is playing golf. Ds1 is still asleep, although I shall wake him at 10. I have put some tomato rolls in the BM for lunch as we have eaten most of the Jim Lahey ciabatta bread.

Then I'm going to make some mince pies and mini bakewell tarts with some pastry I made earlier. DS1 has revision for Christmas exams which start on Friday. Dh is off to Holland tomorrow for 2 days - that should be the last trip before Christmas.

Probably have a chicken curry tonight whilst we're watching the dvd of Harry Potter 5 tonight.

Hester - hope the wedding went well
Crazychick - have a lovely time bowling etc

    Have a good day

    Happy Birthday Little Miss Crazychick.

Hope everyone is ok. Need to get one with alot of housework this morning the place looks like a bombs hit it. My kenwood gave up working yesterday, it was my nans and is over 30 years old so I dont know if its worth getting it repaired. I'll take it to the electical shop and see what he thinks.

No idea what I'm doing for tea but it will be something nice and easy I think, dd is still not sleeping well and I'm flagging by tea time.

    Have a good day everyone

Saw DD off to work at 7.30 with home made prawn salad and a continental meat salad as well as she may be working a 12 hour day.

Put pea and ham soup using pork ribs in the slow cooker for later and second load of washing is coming to an end.

Want to pop to the library to donate a set of four books that DD(13) says is too young for her. Someone else might as well get some enjoyment from them.
Promised would take DD (13)shopping in Leeds so will get a lift from DH to save time.

Will take my prescription and get it filled in Boots as DD wants to use her new Vantage card.

happy birthday to little miss Crazychick?:bdaycake:

    Hope the wedding went well.

Hester - Have a great time at the wedding!!

Been watching YouTube this morning, finding all the bits of CIN that I missed last nite, cos I switched over to see Im a Celeb - and then got caught up watching loads of Disneyland Paris/Rides/parades with the kids!! thought of you Kyle!:D

My robin doesnt seem to want my bread I threw out - maybe I should give him crumble snowy?

thriftmonster - you reminded me Ive got a jar of mincemeat - I plan to have at go at mincepies! I fancy a mincemeat lattice tart - but not sure if I could do the sweet pastry good enough? so maybe pies will be safer!

    :hello: Here I am :hello:

    Just been busy that's all.

Today there are many things that I should be doing, and not all of them are going to happen, still I should try to get as many of them done as possible:

    - Go swimming
    - Tidy the flat
    - Take the recycling out to be disposed of
    - Pick up a few odds and ends of groceries
    - Go to a jumble sale run by a local community project for teenage mums
    - Drop in briefly on the MSE Property Board meet (which happens to be on the way home from the gym, or on the way to where I'm going this evening, however it's also next door to bloody Borough Market so I had better make sure I don't take any surplus money with me :o)
    - Go to a concert

Had a fab night on Thursday, went to a show with 2 friends, and we seemed to have stumbled upon a sort of sponsors' gala night, as there was an unlimited-champagne-and-canape reception afterwards and nobody seemed to want to check whether or not we'd been invited

Anyway, must get on, hugs to those feeling ill, sore, bored, down etc etc :grouphug:

    Love Rzl xx
