    Good Morning All

Just a quick one from me, busy day ahead!

Its my DD's 8th birthday today.
I managed to book a lane for bowling today. Earlier than planned, but it was either that or nothing!
Then off to Meadow Hall after for dinner!

Collected our Nintendo Wii we won off ebay last night! we had to have a little play, before packing it away for Xmas! (we gotta test it works, thats my excuse anyway, but lets just say I won OH at bowling)

Mmmm - cant wait for sunday! First roast dinner in about 5 weeks.
Will get used to the oven first before I decide to bake!

Right best go, presents waiting to open!
    Have a good week end
    Love Emma xxx

    Good morning everyone,

Still not feeling crash hot. Squirmy again today. DH decided to pull up all the carrots this morning  and presented me with a huge bucket of muddy mess. I had to wash, peel & then blanche them. Yes well, I really felt like that. He's finished off the edging around my front garden and did some more work on our inbuilts for repentance. :D

I did the ironing this arv & just played around with DGS outside. Had leftovers for tea. We had some fresh corn out the garden as well. I love corn. :D

Mrs Mix Have you ever thought of moving to a sunnier climate? Bit drastic but it might give you so much relief. ((((hugs))))
Snowy No wonder all the blokes line up at your till. :D Showing your muffins again. :naughty:

Hope you are all feeling a better whose sick. Enjoy your weekend. Byeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning everyone.
Hester have a lovely day, thats soon come round!
We had a nice night out last night, only stayed until 10.00pm, mainly because it was so overcrowded and dd was getting tierd, plus the price of the `fun` bets had gone up from 20p last year to £1 !!!! So only stayed for half the races, kids were great about not betting on a horse each every race and just shared a horse for each one.

Got abit of a lie in this morning, but have lots to do today, dh has to take car for MOT at 10.45, fingers crossed it passes because moneys too tight at the minute to sort anything major out.
Ds3 at a party at 12, then have the rest of the day to get house sorted and generally chill out.
Hope you all have a great day, off for a bath as i didnt take my make-up off last night and look like the walking dead at the minute!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS CRAZYCHICK (Jess will be round later to drop your card off)

Morning all - feeling a bit groggy this morning - fell asleep yesterday afternoon and then couldn't sleep till 3am this morning and then up at 8am. Dd and I had a mini children in need party last night and she is up watching telly and munching leftovers - mmmmm I suppose crisps for breakfast once in a while won't harm her.

Need to clean the house a bit, catch up with some paperwork and feed the christmas cakes. dd's tonsils look infected this morning so i am going to take her to the pharmacist and then will decide whether she's well enough to cycle to the Town of Many Charity Shops. Am supposed to be going to footie this afternoon but dd doesn't want to go any more and we have tried to arrange Daddy Weekends around home matches but exoh is away with his gf this weekend. Even if I could persuade her to go I don't think standing around a freezing Griffin Park will do her throat much good.

have a good day everyone :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

:j HAPPY BIRTHDAY to crazychiks dd :j have a great day
  • Morning all

Ooh I love it when I can wake up naturally and not use an alarm clock:j

OH phoned me at work last night to tell me that he couldn't lock the french doors. When I got home I called various locksmiths, they wanted £114 plus the cost of any parts:eek:     ! Needless to say I didn't ask them to come around. Eventually managed to lock it from the outside. Had had areally mad shift and all I wanted to do was collapse on the sofa with a bottle of HM wine. Will give the people who installed it a ring on Monday as it's still under garuntee.

Not much on today. Am taking DS swimming and then to my local shopping centre to see Santa arrive and the lights get switched on.

No idea about dinner. Will have a look in my freezer. Can't do much housework as OH in bed as on nights.

Have a good day and I hope those who still are feeling rough feel better soon. :A x
  • Good morning everyone

Wet and miserable here today so I don't think I will be going out unless I really have to.

Snowy much as I love crumble, I couldn't face eating it for breakfast. _pale_
Amie I know the money will come in handy but it is hard to put a smile on when you feel you are being taken for a mug, isn't it?
N9eav I love the Eden Project too (though a 7 hour drive might be stretching it for an evening walk :D ) I didn't know they had an ice rink in the autumn/winter. Must remember that.
MrsMcawber doing too much housework isn't MS, you know. You'll be wearing all these surfaces out by cleaning them so much and you'll need to replace them all soon. ;) Hope your piggies recover soon and well done on the weight loss. You are doing fantastically well.
dogrose don't know if that certain footie match is being shown in England but if it is, I may just need to go out and buy some goodies to scoff while I suffer the agonies and ecstasies of watching.
mrs mix please give yourself a day off. Your poor joints sound so painful. ((hugs))
Crazychik Happy Birthday to your DD. :bdaycake: And congrats on your Wii win!! :T
HH hope your DD's wedding goes without a hitch and you thoroughly enjoy yourself.
Hi :hello: to Shez, anniestar, Jackie O and all those MIA.

Well, Bill Bailey was fantastic on Thursday night but DS and I didn't get home until after 12.30 (and it was standing room only on the train from Manchester to Preston!! ). It took ages to fall asleep so it was a struggle for both of us to get up for w**k/school yesterday. I went to bed at 9 last night and slept through until 8.45 this morning. Feel much better though so I will get lots done today. Have already done quite a few jobs so the signs are good. :o

I saw a thread about someone being proud of themselves for using all the "close to death" stuff in the fridge. I will be doing that today too. Soup will definitely be made and I will probably make some chilli, spag bol, etc for freezing.

    Have a super Saturday. xx
