Today is mortgage day and it now stands at £17,241.89.  Tomorrow it will be 10 years since I completed on this property, although first mortgage payment was in December.  Since that time I have paid off £62,708.11 or 78.43% of the original mortgage amount which was £79,950.  I've done some rough calculations based on an estimated property value; the bank own 6.16% of my property but I own 93.84%!!  All systems go now for that final push.
