Way to go Winston! Any chance I could send you my 3 to sort out, please? 😁
Fingers crossed for the compensation and help with DS's therapy 🤞Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. Mortgage Free November 2025!1 -
Paid £70 off the mortgage with what was left at the end of the month. The saga with the energy company continues. They have paid me compensation but I can’t withdraw it from my account so I’m now £380 in credit. App doesn’t show any readings for the last few days, just got a data is on its way message. DD was due out on 2nd and was showing at the increased rate they agreed not to put it up to, it was never taken from my bank account and now my energy app says my DD date is 1st but not how much it is. I’m waiting for my “complaints” lady to get back to me as I told her I couldn’t get the compensation payment out of my account. She also confirmed she could see the warm home payment for my account so that’s another £150 going in. At this rate they will end up with 6 months worth of payments sitting in my account 🤬. I had a roof tile come off last Saturday so I’m sat here listening to the wind and rain hoping no more are coming off. I contacted someone on Monday from our local link advertiser and lives in the same area. They are check a trade registered and get good feedback on the local FB page. I sent a text as I was at work, got a reply in the hour asking for my address and saying were doing a roof elsewhere but should be able to call round late afternoon one day; obviously not heard anymore, why advertise roof repairs if you can’t be bothered? I also can’t get a reply from Alex’s therapist although I know the social worker has been in touch with her. I’ve not had contact with her since we last when in May. I appear to be ghosted by my sons therapist who I pay good money to! My friend is coming to look after my son tomorrow as I just fancied doing something normal on my own. I’m off to Meadowhall to have a wander and get some new jeans 🤞I haven’t been in about 10 years. I’ve also got Monday and Tuesday off so hope to get to the allotment amongst other things. The council have agreed to split the plot but the fence will go through the middle of an existing bed and where my compost bins are. Lots of strimming and moving stuff round so plenty of exercise for me. My autumn planted onion sets arrived today too so it would be good to get them in. Sorry about the moaning but everything seems to be going on at the same time ☹️SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £660.03[ SPC 19 ?COLOR="DeepSkyBlue"]MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; Nov 2025 £17,241 2025 OP £2426.36/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £4689/£21,930 (21.38%)5

Just made an over payment of £130 which brings the mortgage down to £18,199. Its mortgage DD day tomorrow so it will drop below £18 K. There should be a bit more OP this month with a bit of survey payments and if the energy company ever get their act together, which they assure me they now have, then the compensation payment they gave me should be moved into my bank account, not my energy account. I've completed my online training to do the additional work before Christmas like I did last year. My 7% interest account will mature at the end of the month, its for Christmas really but should there be any change left from it in the new year then I'll send that towards the mortgage too. Apparently once this one is closed I am eligible to open another and they are still advertising it at 7%. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can get another one before the interest rate decision in November which potentially could affect the rate. If I take it at 7 then it stays at 7 for the 12 month fix.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £660.03[ SPC 19 ?COLOR="DeepSkyBlue"]MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; Nov 2025 £17,241 2025 OP £2426.36/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £4689/£21,930 (21.38%)3

DD day and mortgage has dropped to under 18K. It now stands at £17,950.25 as I did a tilly tidy of another £31.98. Still waiting for my energy compensation payment. They missed taking my energy DD at the beginning of October as they has "accidentally" cancelled my DD and put it that I paid the bill off in full when it was issued. They have now re-instated the DD for the 2nd but obviously October has now been missed. I'll manually pay the missed amount once the November DD has gone out as I wouldn't put it past them to take it twice.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £660.03[ SPC 19 ?COLOR="DeepSkyBlue"]MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; Nov 2025 £17,241 2025 OP £2426.36/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £4689/£21,930 (21.38%)6
