Whoops pressed the wrong button. Well what a week but I think I have just about survived. All told to go home on Tuesday and work from home til further notice. I had to go in on Wednesday to collect IT kit and came home with a laptop, mouse, keyboard, cable and second monitor which are now in my spare front bedroom. I’ve had a bit of a clear out today as it was depressing me working in conditions like that. Some teething problems but seemed ok by Friday even if it’s a lot slower. We have a team google hangout to chat on and ask questions but it’s not the same, still needs must. I spent most of Thursday and Friday in tears as I had no idea how I was going to cope trying to work full time, look after my son and home school him but someone is looking out for me. I’m a key worker according to the list and his school agreed that I also have no other feasible option. My worry was how do I work and if I don’t what happens to pay and then my job. Fingers crossed the school and wrap round care stays open until it’s over but tomorrow it’s school not quite as normal. The headmaster said there will be between 50 and 70 children there. I’ve also stopped listening to the news so have several podcasts downloaded for listening to. Spent a lot of the weekend in the garden and had a couple of nice dog walks, with conversations with neigbours from opposite sides of the road. Saw lots of ladybirds and even a butterfly so spring is here.

Breakfast and after school care stopping after tomorrow. School still open core hours of 8:45 to 3:05. We’ve had a chat about being grown up and sensible so I’m hoping I can get an hour in both before and after school, we’ll see. Work have finally published some sort of policy on pay so off to try and decipher that now. Today was a bit of a strain in all honesty. He’s been so clingy and kept asking for hugs. He’s not great at school work anyway but at least we managed to post something on his class app so the teacher knows I’ve tried. He’s now moaning because I’m not making rhubarb crumble for tonight’s tea. We got some rhubarb from a friends allotment when we went for a walk this afternoon. I’ve tried to explain I have to do everything so some things have to wait but we had a trantrum. We have done joe wicks PE, maths, been for a walk, he helped with lunch which we had outside and he’s played in the garden, watched some tv, played with his train, been on his tablet so he’s not exactly been twiddling his thumbs all day. I logged on at 7:30 and off at 4:30 with a total of 3 1/2 hours away from desk. There are some others with kids, some older and the others with partners. Still day one. I really enjoyed the PE ad I’m going to do some yoga stretches this evening when he’s in bed. Tomorrow we need to do handwriting and he can help me bake a cake. I’m feeling like a jack of all trades and probably, no definitely, a master of none. I’ll be fine, just needed to moan so thanks for reading; I’ll be better tomorrowSPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)6

You deserve a moan. It's bad enough with a 16 and 22 year old wanting attention. I am really grateful mine aren't any younger. At least it was sunny today. Can you imagine winds and floods or Zageb's earthquakes on top of the current situation.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
