Thank you Honey Bear xx My ankle is swollen but not too painful on the flat. Now stairs are another matter  I walked round to Dad's to use his loo which is on the ground floor, rather than go back up and down my stairs. Walking makes my ankle balloon, but it goes back down when I rest. Stairs hurt!
I hope the problem between Layla and the puddy tats is successfully resolved. I worry about Mrs Tiggles - she has snagged my heart strings :heart2:
WM x 3 is/are on the line. Mount Washmore is no more - and DS isn't home until tomorrow so it will stay that way for a few hoursWhat pots there are are in the bowl - I'll wash them up after lunch. No wonder I'm hungry it's after 1.30!!!
Love to pigpen, Mrs MP, LW, YL, ATB and anyone else having a tough time xx
I need food

As predicted no flying done here. Sewing or at least preparing to sew is such a great distraction. I have just run round with the vacuum now that the workman has left so at least the floors are ok.0

We have kids tonight so doubt there will be much getting done, but as long as OH put the dark wash on, all of the washing will be done and I can make a start on ironing
I will take a look kazwookie
Tomorrow's jobs will be:
- Finish ironing
- Hoover house
- Do food shopping
- Mop kitchen
- Clean bathroom
That'll be quite enough to be getting on with as I am out for most of the morning and afternoon0 -
Fridge and cupboards sparkly and eagerly awaiting new occupants.
Clothes folded.
Meal planning started...
I need to find two library books which were due back a week ago but have been swallowed up in the general piles of gibble I have allowed to build up in the LR  I've also lost an earring. Tomorrow's plan is to look in/on/behind/underneath everything... DS will be employed to move the furniture - there's no point having a son who is a power lifter and not making the most of him!
Oh and I've found a solitary bluebell in the front garden... it was under some weeds... I've taken this as a sign that if I get off my butt and clear the crap, good things will come to light.
Have a good evening all

Library books found in the hall, in a bag I haven't used since February. I last renewed them in person in March

Good evening
Well, I can proudly say that this Flylady has a sparkly, shiny sink!! :j Unfortunately, that is not down to my hard work - but the hard work of my Bob the Builder that fitted a nice new one for meI just need to keep it that way!
Today I have done some food shopping at Mr S, cleaned and sorted the cutlery drawer, washed a drawer full or tea towels that now need sorting and folding, walked the dog, performed the Friday money juggle, sent out some invoices and pottered about in the kitchen.
'Bob' also re-did the mastic in the shower after DH's disastrous DIY efforts last year went mouldy in all of the bumpy bits - so the shower looks clean again at last!
Tomorrow I plan to do the Parkrun and then test out the shower, followed by a day of paperwork and housework as I think it will be too windy for allotmenting.
Happy weekend everyone!0 -
Morning everyone. Hope you're all ok.
Seed planting for me today.
Have a great day everyone.
Just back from dog walk and it's so cold out there I'm going to stay indoors and knit instead.
Will be outside all afternoon anyway for a match.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Good afternoon
I fell off the thread as ever by Thursday afternoon so I have just caught up.
(Hugs) to Jojo, GI, SSDD23, Mrs MP and to anyone else who I have missed.
Ouch, Round! Peas are the way to go. And rest obviously.
I’ve kept up with the dailies over the past couple of days, and this morning I finally finished putting the first coat of paint on the back bedroom. Hearing all the talk of sewing machines is spurring me on, as the plan (well in my head anyway. DH may not realise this yet!) is that there WILL be space in the “new” room to keep my sewing machine out at all times.
I have a long list of outside and green house jobs to do this weekend, but I need this gale to die down first.
I’m going to meal plan and write some lists now whilst I wait for DD to finish riding.
Have a lovely afternoon all. X0 -
Ironed and had another session on the couch grass in the border - another half-a-bucketful pulled up.
Cleaned my bedroom yesterday in honour of new chair slip cover.

Pouring with rain now so match is called off and I'm still knitting and occasionally playing with the dogs. Have also made fridge cake as it was on one of the tv programs on while I was knitting.
I've washed up so that counts as flying.Spend less now, work less later.0
