On the way from school DGS was asking me could I spell certain words I got them wrong on purpose , so he could do them correctly. Who knew a 6 yr old could spell scientist, surgeon, photograph, cockroach 😂. The difference being back at school for him has been brilliant, he wants to read and write again long May it last. DGD had had her nursery Christmas party so we had a rendition of all I want for Christmas is you, so entertaining kids of this age.Have been out walking and done about 8000 steps , I was getting a bit wet so may go for a quick walk round the block to make it to 10,000. According to the scales I have lost another pound. Just need to keep going now BMI has just squeezed into overweight from obese so a fair way to go yet. , another 2 stone would be nice. Going to step it up in Jan and try going swimming back at the gym.Cleaning is the order of the day now , so best get a shuffle on.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Has anyone tried the To Good To Go bags from supermarkets, food near its sell by date sold off . Thinking of trying one in the New Year as a way of saving on the food bill that is likely to go up with Brexit no deal if it happens .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

The only thing I've tried is the Lidl 1.50 boxes that are a similar thing. I've found them great for soups or roast dinners. Usually get a couple of days out of them and when I cook them I freeze leftovers.
Might be worth trying to see what you think.
Have a lovely day xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Pleased to hear you’re having a lovely time with your gks.I wouldn’t have thought you were anywhere near the obese range. I’m hoping to try swimming again come January.....not sure how I’ll fare but it’s the best exercise. 👍January spends - £587.582
