Last school pick up of the year, toy day did happen. DGS had a bagful of super heroes , DGD just a doll and baby bottle, she got a homework superstar certificate for all the work she has been doing at home, she loves learning. My DD had gone into work to hand everything back as she finishes on mat leave today , not long to wait hopefully about 4 weeks.Parents Covid injections went well , no reactions as of yet .Shopping done for about 10 days , just a couple veg things to pick up.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Went for a long walk this morning , it started raining as I got back. Sat down and started reading my Escape to the Chatteau book. Had to put it down to do the weekly cleaning , all done now .Swimming tomorrow with the GKs we love the socially distanced pool and changing facilities . Going to drive to my parents with them later and do a car visit , parents come to the car and have a little chat with them.Christmas Eve has been somewhat kiboshed , I will be going to DDs to pass over the presents but that will probably be it, we had planned on a little buffet .Christmas Day was myself mum and dad so that won't change. I feel for families that were looking forward to meeting up after many months apart, but I guess we have to stay safe.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5
