Your day sounds lovely doing things with your family - can’t think of anything better. Hopefully little one won’t have you up too early in the morning 😂😂

  • DGD was very good last night, she woke up at 7.30 so not bad at all. We went to the car wash and had the inside cleaned as well , it's months since it's been done so looks much better. Went to the beauticians for waxing, then came home and did housework. Whilst sorting some post in my kitchen I came across three more Christmas cards that I had forgotten to post so they went in the postbox this afternoon.
Have had a headache all day so going to bed shortly to see if I can sleep it off.

  • It's lovely to have a clean car and I'm glad DGD slept well :). I hope your headache is better tomorrow.

  • Headache is still here and I have started with a cough and feel shattered . I can still smell and my taste is ok but the app I use to register everyday has told me to get a Covid test , so it's booked for this morning, round the corner .
After that I am going to potter about and do what I can, don't feel like eating so we will see.
Am sure it's just a cold starting but would rather know .

  • Been to the testing centre , very easy , hopefully get the result tomorrow or Tuesday . Going to get started on some batch cooking, just don't have much energy but will do it in stages .
Going to watch another Christmas film later or maybe two or three .

  • Hope you're feeling better soon. My last one test took a bit longer to come back but was there by the end of the next day. Hopefully yours will be as quick x
