Committing early for this evening 3/14 please Shaggy. Went out for an early birthday meal last night as mine is during lockdown. Enjoyed a sensible amount of wine. No cocktail to start but wasn't feeling very celebratory anyway. Ooh today is my 100th AFD this year, how pleasing. :-)5

Hope all went well after closure last night Manpants. Very difficult when surrounded by alcohol and friends drinking.Happy early birthday Wanna bee free.

Morning, today is 4/15 for me please. Like you Annie my team we’re driving me mad yesterday so ended up having a few after work3

Ah Manpants I'm so sorry you have had this reminder that alcohol can be poisonous and hope you are feeling better today after yesterday's abstinence. Draw a line under it, all it means is that you have used one of your four planned drinking days this month 🙂X3

Morning all! 5/28 here, pumpkin-in-a-hat on the horizon.
That's 248 AFD's in 2020 for me, since July 31 I've had one bottle of St*lla (camping trip!) and one small bottle of Corona (ooh the irony - because it was "Up yours, Covid" (being Corona
)) and it was only 49p ! So that's 96/98 alc' free days since then. Therefore since end July I've saved nearly £500 towards the new car - £1,240 this year.
Only a couple of times in that 98 days have I thought "Oooh, I fancy a pint!) which is really odd, considering the state I was in. I'm not telling you this and you're not reading it...I used to, on occasions, be at the mini-market @ 0810 to buy beer because it opened @ 08:00 (I've never been one to keep drink in the home, if I wanted some I'd go buy it, take it home and drink it). That's bad, I know. But now, I'd rather have a minty choc-ice!Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!4 -
Morning all, it's 5/21 for me today

I'm concerned about your choc ice habit Rob. Maybe you should start a thread. 😉🤣 Hopefully it will settle down as the weather gets colder. 😊
I enjoyed my wine with a meal last night. No eating out for a month now so shouldn't be tempted to have midweek drinks.
3/10 AFDs please Cathy5
