Morning all

Went out yesterday on a 32 mile bike ride along the coast with OH and two friends. Beautiful, calm day with autumn crispness in the air.  Unfortunately, I came off the bike on a main road and scraped my face along the road along with sundry other limb injuries. The bike is fine, thank you for asking  Apart from looking dreadful, I'm all good but decided that i would have a glass last night. I had white wine, sipped it rather than drinking it like it was lager and made sure i measured out 250 mls rather than free pouring where its likely to be 400mls of wine. Although i had alcohol, I made 2 glasses last all night so I've (already) used up 2 of my 4 allowed days BUT I still think I'm doing okay. Its still considerably LESS than it was during last lockdown. 

Calling in 6 AF days so far. Well done "Covered in bees" on the early morning chef-ing. Apart from us and "Rob" (i'm assuming) are we the only males on the thread?? Thanks Cathybird for keeping score as ever! Has MSE forum worn out your computer???

Blimey cathybird, what a saga with the laptop. I was quite ignorant of the fact that you would have to put the lists together with code each time...MSE really should have HTML templates available, at least for posters like you who administer specific threads...anyway thank you for all the effort, it really is appreciated. 

Ouch ManPants, that sounds really sore. Look after yourself. Also well done with the ‘measured response’ with wine.

Bonjour, les pants d'homme, I am indeed of a masculine persuasion, being of French descent. My grandparents moved to London from Normandy in around 1880. Grandfather went back in 1917, where he still is (Ypres did him no favours!).
