I thought that's what you meant maggie. You're right, I have got past the need for internal debate. So, if it's a Monday and just a 'normal' evening at home then I don't even think about it. The flip side of that is that if it's Friday then I have a drink whether I really want one or not but that debate doesn't happen often. 😉
When I started cutting down Rob I used to drink masses of water as it took me a while to get over not having a glass in my hand. I still order fizzy water when I'm in a pub and driving as I don't really like many soft drinks (or the calories in them). Mostly I tell myself that when the working day is over it'll be nice to settle down on the sofa with a cuppa. 🙂5 -
Maggie, if something happens to annoy me or I feel stressed in work that what causes me to have an internal debate, or if the weathers good, or I feel like a reward. I find coming on here and declaring early helps as I’ll stick to that. I tend to typically drink Fri and sat and one weeknight usually. We are all different and success no matter how it is achieved internal debate or not is all that matters, don’t be hard on yourself.5

As a slight aside, I'm finding it a tad tricky to find a drink I like in quantity. Fizzy water is OK but tastes of not-a-lot. Mixing with fruit juice - hmmm, but I'm cutting back sugar too and don't want to use sweeteners. Fruit tea is good (LIDL berries one!) but in the heat...
