    Hello
    4/31 today
Congrats to those who did Parkrun this morning, I've never actually go around to doing that when I'm in the UK. I have a 10K tomorrow, it starts at 6.30am before it gets too hot... so a sober early night for me!
Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.

Doing parkrun pretty much every week ensures I'm AF every Friday, as don't want a hangover whilst plodding.

    What was your time? :)

It was 36:42, I set off far to fast thought, hard not to when you feel a bit swept away! The fastest was 17 minutes....can’t ever imagine being a sub 30 at the moment, although it’s one of my goals for 2020. How often do you run?

That's great, well my parkrun PB after 126 runs is 34:26, so you're not far from passing me already, I've !!!!ed about with running over last few years, but determined to put more effort in this year.
  • Wow 126 park runs is amazing Barney, great time too.

Calling in 4 AFD today, it’s my third year doing dry January and it does feel like it’s getting a bit easier. Just sat with a lovely cup of tea, and really not fancying a drink. Hopefully I’ll be saying the same in a couple of weeks!!

1/16 - first AFD day achieved - hurray. Planning on drinking tomorrow then SNC will kick in and I hope to achieve 4 AFDs in the week.

Great to read of newbies joining - all seems to be doing well too!
  • Insomnia hits again or go straight to sleep and wake up at 330am every night. Yesterday that was it I was awake for rest of the day. Can’t believe I’m awake again. Am going to do the snc/5nights please Shaggy. Will see if that makes a difference to the sleep or lack of..
Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.
  • Morning everyone.

Let me know how it goes, I've got my 126th and 81st different parkrun location tomorrow, it's addictive!

Wow Barney that’s really impressive, they asked yesterday at the park run if there were any visitors, and there were a few. I might only go once a month but will definitely try another one in my area.

4/31 for yesterday please Shaggy. I will do 5 in SNC. Thank you. X
It's odd, I had a lot of dry Saturdays in 2019 with no problems but yesterday was very hard. I think it must be because I am doing Dry January and know I can't, well I can but what would be the point of signing up?

arsenalbarnie, waking up at 3 or 4am every night and not being able to get back to sleep can be a sign of depression - just wanted to mention this in case it was a possibility. xx
